Well done on the 76 long - I think I was being too impatient - ended up being "lucky" by reading the small move up as the indicator. I should have been looking for the bigger move - which was the down to 76.

nope mg uve doen well,i was waitn for a retest of 50 but more luck than judgement,that i got on where i did.

Well, as I read it now - based on the contrarian theory I was going on about yesterday the best trade was yours at 76 - would now have been +50. Never mind I'll be looking for the "real" trade more closely in the future.

yep hod in my early morning haze gone long chf @ 1910..not to sure about it ..usd looks like some early morning weakness,

We expect a drop bellow the first key support at 1.2920, but probably after a small
correction of the 1.3125-1.2919 move. Current quote is 1.2949

still still long chf,stop below 1890,didnt want to get stopped out on early dip belwo 00,which has happened..

usd jpy 103 75/78

chf need 20 to break and hold or back down to 00 i feel

sld my chf @ 18 will look to buy back in on a break of 20,looking to retest days high @ 42 ish

Morning. Saxobank suggested resistance of USD/Yen at around 103.75 so I've shorted at 77. Had a nice lobng on yesterday at 103 which was just stopped out before going up (of course).

maggot,keep trying, with stops around big figs, sometimes pays to set a little wider than normal,today i went long usd chf @ 11910,felt it coud retest old supp res @ 11900,so set stop a bit wider,@ 11885,now if it broke thru 11900 and got a big sell i would be stopped out.. fair enough .but what happened is it went below 00,down to 11895 few stops prob taken out,,then up back thru oo and i sold @ 11918.... now if i set my stop say @118 98 id of been stopped out but would of had the right idea...sounds a bit like what is happening to you.
just soemtning to bear in mind just be a little bit cleve if setting stops around big figs or levels...

Thanks for the encouragement, mostrader. I simply need to be braver and allow an extra 10 points. My Dol/Yen stop is at 86; perhaps even that is too close? Trouble is I don't like losing money!

yep magg , fx is diff everyone is the same but you need a diff way of thinking,i am still like you its tough but i knd of think that if i do 10 trades 3/4 may go wrong but it gives me a good indication of where mrk really is going...

as it sounds like you have right idea`s,but as you say need just to tweak your stops a tad
