Having just popped across to the old forum, I am now more than convinced we have taken a wise decision to move here.

Not only has it allowed us start as we mean to go on, the service levels are far better.

Investalvirgin emailed me today to ask if I could explain why he could not get into Moneyam. I did not know the answer so posted his mail here. Within minutes, Ian at customer support responded with the probable cause of the problem.

Added to the free monitor and not having to see you know who's posts and nobody responding to him, makes this a pleasure again.

I was worried we may have appeared somewhat dictatorial, but reading todays posts suggests the right decision was made.

As Pete said earlier, throw a bit of banter in, some humour and the odd joke, it will be a great site. It was not that long ago we were being complimented on a great thread. Looking in on it now, it is dropping even further into the mire.

I am finding quite humorous to see everybody arguing away with Hay after berating me about it though!!!!

Once Pete gets back next week, we will endeavour to load the links for the EVS and CCR website etc to the header and Quinan is holding the key for the next week whilst Pete and I are away so you never know what might appear. (No naked women Quin!!!!)

Well, I am of to Gay Paris (not the gay section though) for a week as of tomorrow, I will drink as much red wine as possible on your behalf.

Hope the next few trading days go well for us and the sanity is maintained here!

Taquila, the SP slipped down quite a bit today before recovering back to it's original level, rather unexpected flurry in the last hour or so!

Morning all! Last on, First on! I have been to bed!

Now here's a thing.

I placed an ad recently offering a free telephone number, connected for free, no rental, no hiked up charges and the call rates listed.

I had the first call from it last night and the guy said he would like one.

Whilst he was talking, I logged in to CCR, tapped in his name which he gave when I answered, asked him for the number, kept him chatting whilst inputting it.

After a few minutes, he said yes, he would like it so I said, ok Dteve, here's your number, all connected and ready to go.

He said, 'get lost, what are you, a BT man on the fiddle haha?

I said 'ring it! He did and in the background his mobile went off. He even answered it to make sure it was him even though his home number was showing. He said 'hello'! I was cracking up.

Anyway, he sait 'That was amazing, fancy selling me the equipment'?

I said 'tell you what Steve, call me tomorrow and I will GIVE you free access to it and you can use it to give numbers to all your mates.

(my voice was giving out by then!)

This impresses everybody I show! It's going to be a cracker!!!!!!

The competitions down this morning!

taquila - 26 May 2005 07:50 - 292 of 1643

Morning Ads - nobody here but us chickens, eh? Comp is running ok now. Let's hope that the strong buying of yesterday continues this morning. (Solomon would throttle me for saying that). Enjoy your Paris trip if I don't speak to you again before you depart, and it will give you time to recuperate properly. TTFN

advans - 26 May 2005 07:59 - 293 of 1643

Thanks, the missus has been saying to cancel it but I reckon an abundance of red wine and garlic will do me the world of good! So we're going I told her this morning!

QUINAN - 26 May 2005 08:00 - 294 of 1643

Morning all hangover and no it was not watching the foot ball

taquila - 26 May 2005 08:02 - 295 of 1643

Morning Q - no, I've found it's the alcohol consumed whilst watching the football that does it. Anyway, my bosses will be in a good mood - they travelled over there to see the game and are mad Liverpool supporters (wonder if they'd give me a rise?????)hmmmm

advans - 26 May 2005 08:03 - 296 of 1643

Morning quin, I'm just packing the car and doing the final bit's and bob's before departure. I will probably end up finding a pay as you use internet service next week, will have to keep an eye on the SP in case it whips up to 50p or something because I might be tempted to sell a couple!!!

QUINAN - 26 May 2005 08:19 - 297 of 1643

Advan have a nice time in France, and dont forget that France is full of French people just thought I would warn you see you next week. When you come back the SP will be 60p

advans - 26 May 2005 08:30 - 298 of 1643

Full of French people? No wonder the hotel was so cheap. They never told me that! Typical travel agents, only interested in the money!

advans - 26 May 2005 08:38 - 299 of 1643

Right, I'm off! Have a fine time everyone! c

a nice few buys showing this morning, a continuation of yesterday afternoon

REDHILL - 26 May 2005 09:27 - 302 of 1643

Level 2 now 3v1 4.00p-4.35p

QUINAN - 26 May 2005 09:38 - 303 of 1643

thats a nice rise long may it continue, lots more to come from EVS in the next month as well, so a steady rise back to 6p+ then a fantastic TS should push us into orbit

Golfnut - 26 May 2005 10:05 - 304 of 1643

4.1 v 4.4

1 x 3

Haystack - 26 May 2005 10:56 - 305 of 1643

Interesting that it is the offer that is being raised. There was a 250k SELL this morning as well.

It does look like the MMs have too much stock at present and are moving the price up to attract some punters to buy. They haven't moved up the bid as much as they don't seem to want any more stock. I guess they stil have plenty left from all the sells yesterday.

Haystack - 26 May 2005 11:09 - 306 of 1643

Only one MM is even on 4.1p for the bid. The rest are still on 4p which it opened at.

It looks increasingly like the MM are just trying to pass on stock that they bought in today and yesterday. In other words this is not to do with buying pressure.
