THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

the muslim brotherhood are TERRORIST who promote death to non muslims

Haystack - 03 Sep 2013 12:22 - 28704 of 81564

The Muslim Brotherhood is not classified as terrorist by any country except Russia.

TANKER - 03 Sep 2013 12:37 - 28705 of 81564

Israel Egypt and a few others

Haystack - 03 Sep 2013 12:42 - 28706 of 81564

Neither Israel nor Egypt classify MB as terrorists.

TANKER - 03 Sep 2013 14:06 - 28707 of 81564

morsi to be charged with terrorist actions

Haystack - 03 Sep 2013 14:14 - 28708 of 81564

No. Charged with incitement to murder. The MB is a movement and not a political party. It goes back to before WWII and not specific to any country.

"Free Syrian Army = Muslim Brotherhood."

Not really. The Muslim Brotherhood is a sub faction of the FSA. There are similar groups in most ME countries. Hamas is an offshoot from the Brotherhood for instance."

So that's what happened to the Financial Services Authority then -):

Stan,

That is another Brotherhood.

You know the wonky ones with trousers rolled up!

Another pint soon.

I have heard from Chris.

Myself maybe running down to Portugal in a short while.

Looking at routes but not certain yet.

doodlebug4 - 03 Sep 2013 16:50 - 28711 of 81564

Fred, if you are going to Portugal then check out Alvor, in the Algarve, it's a bit special, some great fish restaurants. jmop

Fred1new - 03 Sep 2013 17:08 - 28712 of 81564

DB.

Know the Algarve well.

Spent about 4 months a year there for four years.

Probably, if I decide to go will spend time at Tavira and Lagos as well as drifting around.

Just wondering if the Chicken Shack is still open at Almancil?

Not sure yet, trying to get enough energy to do so.

PS.

Also know Alvor when it was just a dusty fishing village.

A former Syrian forensic medicine expert has provided evidence that the Assad regime used chemical weapons, opposition forces say.

Abdeltawwab Shahrour, head of the forensic medicine committee in Aleppo, claims there was a chemical attack in Khan al-Assal, Aleppo, on March 19, said Istanbul-based opposition coalition spokeswoman Sarah Karkour.

Mr Shahrour, who has defected to Turkey, has documents proving the attack took place and eyewitness accounts from police authorities that contradicte the administration's version of events, a second opposition official said.

Both the government and rebels have blamed each other for what they say was an attack involving chemical weapons. More than two dozen people died.

Fred - Alvor isn't a dusty fishing village any more, sadly, but it still retains a lot of its charm despite that. There are still dusty fishing villages in Portugal, but they are becoming harder to find. Lovely country, lovely people and a great place to visit - if you can get away from the more popular tourist places favoured by beer-swilling Brits!

"Both the government and rebels have blamed each other for what they say was an attack involving chemical weapons."

So who are they going to bomb?

Fred1new - 03 Sep 2013 20:09 - 28721 of 81564

It has for Cameron.

Cameron seems to have disappeared following shooting himself in the foot.

PM questions should be interesting to-morrow.

Fred1new - 03 Sep 2013 20:12 - 28722 of 81564

Ps/

Forgot we have an overgrown school boy acting as a clown for a PM.

I wonder when the tories will dump him, before or after the election.

Farage is laughing in his socks.
