Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

TullettJ: Thanks. Of those you mention Norton looks like the suspect...but of course I will check for others. John

Apologies if this is mentioned already, but.....

When moving my mouse over a chart with the intention of printing it, I get script error pop ups and therefore can't print the chart.

Is it my system or something else ??

Thanks,

Mike

Is there a reason why there are monthly charts for stocks like DTI ADC ADS AND ICN but none for shorter time frames 5 day, 2 day etc

IanT(MoneyAM) - 10 Dec 2004 06:47 - 2880 of 7315

qwento,

axdpc - 16 Dec 2004 23:25 - 2886 of 7315

How about the facility to download Trades data in csv format?
Maybe only during off-peak or after hours?
Or, only for data more than two days old?

:-)

IanT(MoneyAM) - 17 Dec 2004 06:43 - 2887 of 7315

axdpc,

I don't know whether this is possible, but I will put it to the guys,

Ian

Re my previous post :

'Is there a reason why there are monthly charts for stocks like DTI ADC ADS AND ICN but none for shorter time frames 5 day, 2 day etc'

This also includes DXS (FT250 company). Any progress on this ?

IanT(MoneyAM) - 17 Dec 2004 08:15 - 2889 of 7315

qwento,

we are currently in the process of final testing a system that will reload the data for the charts I will let you know when we have done this and it is resolved. But I will also get JT to take a look to see if there is anything else he can do.

Ian

Aargh, the FTSE chart has stopped, just at the critical time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IanT(MoneyAM) - 17 Dec 2004 10:14 - 2892 of 7315

Kayak,

Is that the streaming UKX you are talking about?

Ian

Kayak - 17 Dec 2004 10:15 - 2893 of 7315

Yes. Yahoo too though

Kayak - 17 Dec 2004 10:15 - 2894 of 7315

Just restarted

IanT(MoneyAM) - 17 Dec 2004 10:16 - 2895 of 7315

Kayak,

Seems to be a general thing across the boards - the FTSE was held during the auction.

Ian

Kayak - 17 Dec 2004 10:16 - 2896 of 7315

Oh actually I'm just being stupid. Of course everything held in the auction.
