Israeli Gaza conflict?????? (GAZA)

Fred1new - 06 Jan 2009 19:21

Will this increase or decrease the likelihood of terrorist actions in America, Europe and the rest of the world?

If you were a member of a family murdered in this conflict, would you be seeking revenge?

Should Tzipi Livni and Ehud Olmert, be tried for war crimes if or when this conflict comes to an end?

What will the price of oil be in 4 weeks time?

The UN human rights council (UNHRC) approved with a comfortable majority a draft resolution to form an international inquiry commission to investigate Israel's deadly attack on the Freedom Flotilla on May 31, which took place in international waters.

The European campaign to end the siege said in a press release that the UNHRC announced Monday the names of the commission's members, which includes prominent international human rights experts and jurists.

Israel has announced its own inquiry but some governments have expressed scepticism about its credibility.

.................

Israel has asked the UN to suspend attempts to organise an international inquiry into a deadly raid on a ship trying to break the blockade of Gaza.

Israeli Defence Minister Ehud Barak said any inquiry should be shelved because new attempts to breach the blockade were still being organised.

..................

In a related context, the Dutch foreign ministry informed coordinator of the European campaign to end the siege Amin Abu Rashed and Dutch citizen Anna Da Yong, who participated in the Freedom Flotilla, that it will take care of all expenses of the lawsuit filed by them against Israel.

Abu Rashed, who is also a Dutch citizen, said in a press release that he and Da Yong last Thursday filed a lawsuit against the Israeli government on a charge of kidnapping them at sea and detaining them without the presence of a lawyer and claimed compensation for all material and moral damage done to them during and after the attack.

You just can't help digging up every little bit of anti-Israel material you can find, can you Comrade Hayes?
Is there anything else in your life?
Pathetic.

LOL

I haven't posted anything on this for 2 days. I will find some more if you like. How about some anti nazi league comments?

"One of the little ironies that gave sharp witted observers of the world much pleasure over the years was the fact that the most Nazi organisation in Britain was the AntiNazi League.

Yes, wherever your friendly local right wing extremist group tried to exercise their democratic right to demonstrate peacefully in support of their point of view, the anti nazi league rent-a-mob would not be far away. Their faces contorted with rage the violent, stick waving, stone throwing thugs would try to shout down any opinion they did not agree with, so very like Hitlers bully boys.

The Anti Nazi League seems set to lose its position of the most irrational, fascistic, odious bunch of hate driven scumbags in Britain. A new bunch of leftie loony thugs who call themselves Unite Against Fascism has emerged obviously prompted by the Anti Nazi League not being insane enough. Unite Against Fascism will travel anywhere in the country to break up demonstrations by anyone who disagrees with them or simply does not agree with them passionately enough.

The primary targets of Unite Against Fascism are The English Defence League whose members protest against Islamic extremism. You may or may not agree with their doing that but so long as they do it peacefully it is their democratic right. Unite Against Fascism, like the Anti Nazi League do not believe in democracy, power through strength is their philosophy. They like to win their arguments by violence.

One would think with so many of them being university graduates they would find time to look up the definition of fascism in a dictionary."

The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) is trying to dissuade the United Nations from its plan to form an international committee to investigate the Israeli massacre committed in international waters against activists on board the Freedom Flotilla, which left dozens dead and injured.

Israeli war minister Ehud Barak appealed to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon to reverse plans to establish an independent international investigation commission.

He stated during his visit to the United States of America, "We must put plans for an independent investigation committee aside, so as to enable the Israeli commission to continue its work."

ITLB ... it's very simple; be like me and read just the odd snippet, ignore the rest and move on

In The Land of the B - 22 Jun 2010 21:16 - 2884 of 6906

cynic,
I don't take Greg seriously, never have. How can you take someone seriously when they are named after one of the grottiest parts of West London :)
I know he's trying to get a rise.
No-one could be that stupid for real.
fred the nazi is simply lacking in.......well, everything.
clubman is a piece of something else.
fahel at least is honest, even if he is consumed with hatred.
Otherwise the whole thread consists of wind-ups and counter wind-ups with people affecting different personas for amusement :)

cynic - 22 Jun 2010 21:18 - 2885 of 6906

so why get yourself suckered in then?

Haystack - 22 Jun 2010 21:21 - 2886 of 6906

Beacuse Anti Nazi League members are gullible!

In The Land of the B - 22 Jun 2010 21:59 - 2887 of 6906

I've not been suckered in, I just don't like standing back and reading one sided anti-Israel diatribes from the nasty and ignorant. Obviously some of the posts have been wind ups by the likes of Oberleutnant Hayes, but certainly not all.
I have never been a member of UAF or the ANL, lol, those comments were just wind ups (like anti-matter and matter) to get Greg and his nazi cronies going......:)
Since when do you believe everything you read, especially with a handle like "cynic" ! :)

cynic - 22 Jun 2010 22:02 - 2888 of 6906

unlike you, i rarely read anything on this thread in particular which is more than 6 lines long ... as a result i don't get suckered in, which i am afraid you do ... still, that's your call/problem

In The Land of the B - 22 Jun 2010 22:05 - 2889 of 6906

believe whatever you wish

Haystack - 22 Jun 2010 22:20 - 2890 of 6906

Infortunately that's really the problem with the ANL.

They don't subscribe to "believe whatever you wish". You have to believe what they find acceptable.

cynic - 23 Jun 2010 07:29 - 2891 of 6906

i believe very little of the garbage on this thread, which is why i ignore it
by the way, what has happened about that intentionally very provocative iranian so-called aid vessel?
it has gone very quiet indeed from all sides

Haystack - 23 Jun 2010 10:55 - 2892 of 6906

I think you will find that there are several aid ships coming to Gaza very soon, including one of all women. Of course they are provocative, that is the purpose. It is to prvoke an international reaction. They seem to be doing very well in that.

Gausie - 23 Jun 2010 11:16 - 2893 of 6906

Cynic - I think that the next barrage of ships have all suffered engine failures - activists are accusing Israel of having sabotaged them. If that's what's happened then it was probably a good move.

ssanebs - 23 Jun 2010 11:27 - 2894 of 6906

aid ships planned

June 22 (Bloomberg) -- A ship carrying aid from the Iranian Red Crescent Society will leave June 27 on a voyage through the Suez Canal to the Gaza Strip, said Abdolrauf Adibzadeh, the relief groups head of international affairs.

The vessel will depart from the southern port city of Bandar Abbas, loaded with 1,100 tons of supplies, Adibzadeh told reporters in Tehran today. Five Red Crescent representatives and five journalists also will be aboard, he said.

Those making the trip arent looking for a confrontation with Israel and will travel without an escort from Irans Revolutionary Guard Corps or another military force, Adibzadeh said. Their ship, rented from a private Iranian company, will respect international laws, he said. We arent seeking adventurism.

The Iranian Red Crescents latest cargo has been chosen from a list of goods needed in Gaza as determined by International Committee of the Red Cross, Adibzadeh said. The Iranian group is a member of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.

There will be 50 tons of medication and the rest is food and hygiene goods, including rice, cooking oil, canned tuna, flour, water, blankets, soap and laundry detergent, he said. The vessel, named the ship of Gaza children, will also deliver clothing and toys, he said.

Providing people in Gaza with aid is one aspect, but it is not sufficient, Adibzadeh said. Most important is to help them by seeking to end the blockade on Gaza.

The International Committee of the Red Cross, in a June 14 report, called on Israel to end the blockade, saying it subjected Gazas civilian population to collective punishment imposed in clear violation of Israels obligations under international humanitarian law. The organization also urged those with an influence on the situation, including Hamas, to do their utmost to help Gazas civilian population.

Bring back Bush, Obanana is trying but is secretly disliked by many in the government

What Next a jew in the White House

Haystack - 23 Jun 2010 13:24 - 2897 of 6906

Why not?

In The Land of the B - 23 Jun 2010 13:31 - 2898 of 6906

A touch of wit from Comrade Hayes to leaven his obsessional behaviour.
Obviously Obama is a closet Jew, he should be open about it, like the famous Jew Drogba.
