strange day . 17million shares traded. "officially" 5.4 million buys.4.1 million sells( 2miilion at 6p) and 7.5 miilion unknowns pretty much all at 6p and sizable trades at that. im guessing trades at 6p , sizable ones , were buys . anyone got other ideas?

ssanebs - 22 Nov 2004 23:34 - 289 of 27111

yes they were buys.

Woha there! The notion that SEO would not be about to go bust - - -because of the deal with ASDA ( -leading to riches in the US- ) - - is at development stage and ASDA is only interested in (anyone's) Lidding technology - if the Patent Dispute engulfed the (ASDA Interest) then ASDA would continue to discuss their projects with ANOther company.
SEO management has shown itself flawed and incapable of operating simple machinery withpout inflicting grreat wounds on itself. Just because the Technologies are separate - so what?
The cc Damages will have repercussions throughout the SEO group - I doubt that they can comparmentise/seal off the bother. That notion goes to show how flawed SEO management is.
SEO's sp is now being watched and MM's are likely to push it up with good news and drop it with bad. When the CC is over, then "we" shall know how much of SEO is able to drag itself from the Battlefield.
I don't hold SEO (or BPRG), but don't see this interim Good News as a cause for celibration, although MM's have bumped up the sp nearly 50%.

AdieH - 23 Nov 2004 13:19 - 291 of 27111

I think you maybe wrong in these statements, the CC compensation has been factored into the price, in my opinion.

On a more light hearted note your spelling does need checking... it's celebration.

willfagg - 23 Nov 2004 14:15 - 292 of 27111

Dear Hang on
My understanding is that the technology is tested nad is a "product". As AdieH says I think any damages are already factored in.In reality they havent really bumped up the price that far as the market overeacted to the news initially and 4p was not the "real price". IMO

bosley - 23 Nov 2004 14:17 - 293 of 27111

well said adieh. hey hangon ...hang on a mo.nobody is jumping around saying its all over and everything is good . since the patent dispute came up its been hangin(no pun intended) over us like a black cloud.its taken all the focus off other parts of seo and its driven and held the price down with all its uncertainty . basically , its almost over .as long as the compensation and associated legal costs are not in the astronimical league then seo can ride through it and hopefully prosper and grow. i disagree with your comment that the interim good news isnt cause for celebration. it bloody well is! so there!
its a massive piece of news, just for what it is and also, because of what it may lead to .i agree with adie in that ALL the bad shit has been factored into the share price. yes it will drop once the last, (hopefully), of the bad news is released but the upside to this is that we will have clarity and certainty, something we havent had for a while now. yes it is only a trial with asda, a full scale trial with the number two supermarket in this country, which is owned by walmart, a reasonably large american supermarket.

"SEO management has shown itself flawed and incapable of operating simple machinery withpout inflicting grreat wounds on itself."

what do you mean ? it doesnt make sense.seo developed the bprg idea into a workable , wanted product . it has also developed other unique products , like the packaging, that big players are interested in.you're talking bollocks there , pal.

"SEO's sp is now being watched and MM's are likely to push it up with good news and drop it with bad."

nothing revolutionary there then.......

bosley - 23 Nov 2004 14:18 - 294 of 27111

hey! what do you know? its up again .flippin' 'eck!

AdieH - 23 Nov 2004 15:29 - 295 of 27111

Things looking good, I believe thats 7 days in a row that we have had approx 6% rises each day, things looking strong, even if the cc does drive price down it is probably a buying opportunity for those that believe in the company.

My only doubt/worry is how the management deal with the decision, hopefully in a professional manner and accept the decision and walk away paying the compensation, then the skys the limit if we can get asda and the like on board.

bosley - 23 Nov 2004 15:47 - 296 of 27111

seo board accepting the decison with good grace , in a professional manner? yeah , right!!! i think the form tells you how they will handle it. but then again , now they have got asda they might make funny faces and blow rasberries at the bprg board..........( yes i know i am being silly, i,m bored)

bosley - 24 Nov 2004 09:38 - 297 of 27111

morning all. down today, not by much but its still red and not blue. asking for too much , i think, 7 days of blue..........

mickeyskint - 24 Nov 2004 11:27 - 298 of 27111

Can't win every day.

MS

AdieH - 24 Nov 2004 11:36 - 299 of 27111

Yes don't go up in straight lines but the future looks blue...

DSTOREY9916 - 24 Nov 2004 12:50 - 300 of 27111

Anyone got an idea when the damages against SEO will be announced?

bosley - 24 Nov 2004 15:56 - 301 of 27111

last time it got mentioned it was supposed to be the end of the month dstorey.i think we were maybe asking a bit too much . i mean , if seo went any higher then we are into all time high territory and possible break out. never mind , maybe when the cc is decided i think seo will announce the other company and then we might get over 7p depending on how good a deal or trial it is. heres hoping....

bosley - 25 Nov 2004 10:19 - 302 of 27111

morning .just looked at trades. 6p seems to be a key number. 6p to sell brings out the sellers and 6p to buy pulls in the buyers.would like it to steady a bit here before the next bit of news , good or bad.

AdieH - 26 Nov 2004 08:58 - 303 of 27111

Morning all, good news once more, this is good and should help when the result CC is known, pulling away from that now with this new technology...

bosley - 26 Nov 2004 09:02 - 304 of 27111

morning all . good news

Stanelco develops new material format for use in tray manufacture
AFX

LONDON (AFX) - Stanelco PLC said it has developed a new low cost biodegradable starch/PVA film product for use with its radio frequency technology in tray manufacture and thermoform packaging.

Trials of the new product will start in the New Year and, if successful, commercialization will begin in the current financial year.

The company said it is in talks with a number of end users and manufacturers regarding the testing of the technology.

Initially the product will be targeted at organic ranges, which represents about 6 pct of Supermarket produce sales, it said.

this is why i bought seo . for me , this could eventually be the biggest earner in years to come . lack of land fill and legislation will force packaging companies and supermarkets to become more environmentally conscious. biodegradable packaging will have to be the norm . this has colossol potential.

AdieH - 26 Nov 2004 09:47 - 305 of 27111

Agree Bosley, want to buy some more soon.

bosley - 26 Nov 2004 10:24 - 306 of 27111

yep

bosley - 26 Nov 2004 12:41 - 307 of 27111

strange. some big sells so far today , and the price has stayed blue.
