Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

A 26-year-old woman's 88-pound weight loss has gone viral after a Reddit user created a time-lapse GIF that shows the woman's body transformation in just five seconds.
Amanda, who asked that her last name not be used, began taking photos of herself in 2011 as a way to stay on track when she committed to losing weight.
Amanda started weighing 222 pounds. By eating a high-protein diet, controlling her portions and doing moderate exercise, Amanda lost the 88 pounds in one year and has kept it off.

Hays,
Just been told that CAMERON and the UK has been sidelined at the G20.
Told he is from a back water country.
-----------
It is untrue.
Dave has put on his Bullingdon Club suit and is waiting at table.
Mind he will try and make a sandwich of the scraps later.

Funny, the news broadcasts show no signs of Cameron being sidelined. Miliband is the leper now in international politics.

Fishfinger,
Do you actually have a brain of your own or are you simply roadtesting one for an idiot?
Just curious.
OBC,
I'll speak to my son to see if he can get you into the Bullingdon Club as a fully paid up member. You might have to go tramp-searching and burn a wad of scores under their noses (pegs provided) as part of the initiation ceremony, but, hey ho, I'm sure it'll be worth the fun.

not my fault if you're a porker! :-)
actually, it was tougher this year than intended, not least because Day 4 was into a headwind throughout.
also, it was a longer trip than usual at 50 miles a day with some quite hard climbing (by our low standards)

Cyners,
My husband's (take note, fishfinger!) just bought himself one of them fancy Panamera thingamajigs. They're pretty good in a headwind if you're struggling with the hill climbs.

as far as i was concerned it was an enjoyable way of putting on ONLY 1/2 stone!
still, it'll come off soon enough and easily enough
great customary "last lunch" at le channel in calais ..... the freshest of langoustines and foie gras followed by grilled lobster (alive until the last minutes!), then cheese and pud all accompanied by some 1991 savennieres

thanks hils, but though i thoroughly enjoyed my 911 a number of years ago, i'm happier still with my "wag's car"

Camoron, been labeled by a Rusky as 'an insignificant player from a small insignificant country'. Getting rather heated.......shame our Dave is on the bottom table feeling out of it with the Krauts.
What a HUMILIATION for him.
BUT he knows his place now.

Yes, I know Le Channel very well. In the tech boom, I used to go there with a friend for Sunday lunch. I introduced him to Mersault and Montrachet. We were were paying around £100 a bottle for some good bottles.

I have had several Porsches over the years, but the best handling was a 944 Turbo SE.

Cyners,
Imo, you'd be better off stopping of at Montreuil sur mer en route to the chunnel and dining at le Cocquempot. You'd easily be able to work off that third bottle of Pouilly uphill to Calais (30 mins in the Panamera, 3 hours on your tandem or 6 in Fishfinger's 2CV), or you could stay over in the town and enjoy a light lunch of fresh legs on toast at the Froggy Tavern on your way back.

i know montreuil as my parents used to stay there regularly, and it was a regular watering hole on earlier golf trips .... however, it is not an area that has much or even any appeal to us for our cycling
may go to the upper loire next year, but haven't even started to give it much thought at this juncture
