THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

why as Cameron said he will give millions more to Syria aid
and the muslim countries silent Saudi iran yemin Algeria Jordan turkey

TANKER - 06 Sep 2013 13:10 - 28867 of 81564

The aid is humanitarian aid for the civilians and refugees NOT for the rebels.

Fred1new - 06 Sep 2013 13:21 - 28870 of 81564

Skinny,

Perhaps, Putin was consecrating something and was seen to be "sain".

Thought I could remember the word from when I was born.

8-))

Tanker, spelling interests me like my own "muddles".

I am glad I write with the spelling checker going full blast.

Noted over the years I spell as I "speak" and often soften vowels.

why should uk tax payers give money to them when they are struggling to live they
are struggling to keep warm and feed their families .

let the muslim countries feed them .
muslims hate the Christians of this world but do not mind eating and begging for food
from Christians

skinny - 06 Sep 2013 13:24 - 28873 of 81564

Short game?

doodlebug4 - 06 Sep 2013 13:29 - 28874 of 81564

LOL - probably got his bishops muddled up with his prawns.

Fred1new - 06 Sep 2013 13:29 - 28875 of 81564

One of the hopes of "giving aids" is to have more "peace" at home.

--------

Wonder if Cameron can have his drum confiscated.

But it does look as Manuel, Hays and some of the more "bonker" members of the tory party are isolating themselves more and more on the international and home political thinking over Europe.

-----------------

GF,

Where did you get the UK import/export figures from?

They would show what I would expect after Osborne and Wavy Dave's ill thought out austerity program.

Special report: We all thought Libya had moved on – it has, but into lawlessness and ruin

Libya has plunged unnoticed into its worst political and economic crisis since the defeat of Gaddafi

we spent billions helping Libya to get rid of Gaddafi now we are to scared to go to Libya we would be killed .

dreamcatcher - 06 Sep 2013 13:33 - 28877 of 81564

Has he gone ?

please elucidate especially insofar as you consider it relates to me

Manuel,

I will revise my statement and make it only partially bonkers!

Must must be "sain" or "insane" to consider riding 50 miles/day.

-------------

Have this strange vision of you riding in one of those box trailers towed by some French owners of their "old dogs" behind them.

cynic - 06 Sep 2013 13:58 - 28881 of 81564

that as may be, but it does not make me to the right of atilla!

in honesty, 40/50 miles a day, even for us old farts isn't that tough and gives us plenty of time to smell the sights and see the the flowers + to imbibe the odd pression or pastis
however, this year we averaged just over 50 and there was quite a bit of strenuous hill work - silly cynic!

Fred1new - 06 Sep 2013 15:18 - 28882 of 81564

Cynic,

You don't have to write about Hays in that manner.

He can't help himself.

dreamcatcher - 06 Sep 2013 15:21 - 28883 of 81564

You look well cynic. lol

cynic - 06 Sep 2013 15:28 - 28884 of 81564

that was at the beginning, but after a few decent meals with plenty of wine i'm sure you'll be able to find a more up-to-date pic
