Cybit the best telematics play (CYH)

Still Waiting - 21 Sep 2003 22:33

The chart for this stock says it all.

The company is quickly becoming a real gem in the telematics field, over the last month the co. has announced re-seller contracts which will bring in min. 2m or >30% of last years T/O alone.

The company is already experiencing massive organic growth so the co. should be profitable now following last years 500k loss.

The co. has approx. 6m cash and is in one of the hottest growth areas at the moment.

With a market cap. of 25m this will be re-rated x2/3 minimum within the next 6-12 months IMHO.

MM buys went through on Friday with T/O continuing to build, one to put on your monitor...

Douggie

I am in a similar position to you but I have decided not to sell but put these away for another couple of years. This has not worked out the way I hoped but I can't help thinking that it will come good in the end. Still think Cybit is a good company that will keep winning contracts.

I might see you on the MOI thread on here or advfn. I've borrowed 10k from my sister (she's very rich so it's okay) to get into MOI as I am still looking for that life changing 10 bagger.

Take care Douggie.

CybIT Holdings PLC
11 May 2005

Cybit Holdings PLC
('Cybit' or 'the Group')

SCOTTISH CONTRACT WINS IN EXCESS OF 500,000 FOR FLEETSTAR-ONLINE

Cybit, one of the UK's leading online telematics service providers, today
announces that it has secured contracts with three of Scotland's leading
businesses. The majority of revenues relating to these contracts will have been
recognised during the current and previous reporting periods.

Scotland's major fuel distributor, Bernard Brogan, has signed a contract for
Cybit's internet-based fleet and asset management solution, Fleetstar-Online,
for its entire haulage fleet and its rigid trailer vehicles that are used to
deliver fuels and oils to the domestic, agricultural and construction sectors.
The Fleetstar-Online solution will enable Bernard Brogan to produce in-depth
reports on vehicle usage as well as greatly enhancing the security of its fleet.

Cybit has also secured two further contracts for Fleetstar-Online. The Tulloch
Group, one of Scotland's largest private house builders and contractors, has
implemented the Fleetstar-Online solution into 180 of its fleet of contractor
vans, HGVs and cranes. Turriff, a multi utility service provider within
Scotland, has also implemented 80 units of Fleetstar-Online into it's fleet of
140 vehicles in order to assist the company in the optimisation of the fleet and
enhance its security.

Richard Horsman, Cybit's CEO, commented:

'The signing of these contracts further strengthens Cybit's position as the UK's
leading Telematics Service Provider. With initial entry-level costs from as
little as 20 per vehicle per month, Cybit's Fleetstar-Online solution is a
flexible and scalable fleet and asset management solutions that provides a
unique modular approach to fleet management. Scotland is an important and
growing area for Cybit and we are delighted that these Scottish businesses have
realised the benefits that can be achieved from our service

Legins - 11 May 2005 11:20 - 2902 of 3104

Lets hope more of this news will now start to continually flood in. It will need this to stop the MM's continuous fall in value of the SP. In relation to the price before consolidation of shares in issue, it has still dropped like a stone.

Considerably undervalued!

MillionDollarMan - 11 May 2005 11:30 - 2903 of 3104

I am amazed why people still continue to sell the odd 5000 and 9000. It is a GOLDEN time to buy at the moment! If I had an extra 10k, I certainly know where it would be going. To think what we/I paid for these to begin with... well, needless to say, if hadn't bought them when I did then I would definately be getting in now! and that is NOT a hype. I firmly believe that!

Regards

Douggie - 17 May 2005 09:45 - 2904 of 3104

I was begining to entertain a glimmer of hope that CYH was about to start upward mouvement..steady flow of good news...why -2.5p drop did I miss somthing??.....;-/

Nitefly - 17 May 2005 12:09 - 2905 of 3104

Remember way back when the share went through the consolidation period, I and others said it would go one way or the other (heh, sorry for stating the obvious), well as so many shares that consolidate, it went the other:( - It will recover I'm sure and that is one reason why I am staying with CYH, a little bruised atm but still confident.

I think what happens is that the casual trader that likes trading penny shares is frightened off by what appears to be a higher price, price is king and I too fall into this category. I have always played in the under 20p market and I fully understand it's only a psychological difference, but penny shares is where the fun is for me and I'm sure a lot of others too. This fun element was removed in the consolidation, regardless of whether it is undervalued, which it certainly is. What has shocked me is that at these prices there has not been any institutional buying, even though a lot of tipsters have been recommending CYH as a buy for quite some time now - any comments on this appreciated?

I also think the NEWS (or lack thereof) from Cybit is a valued point. If you look at any bouyant stock you will find four/five or more news releases a month, we're lucky to see one every two/three months. Cybit could help themselves by getting rid of the deadwood in their PR & IT departments and employing some people that understand this most important factor.

On a lighter note, how many of you bought these as part of your Champion Investor portfolio? - I did 25,000 @ 60p ROFL, ah well it is only for fun:)

MillionDollarMan - 24 May 2005 15:45 - 2906 of 3104

The news coming through just lately has been really encouraging. We just need sight of that results news :)

pro - 28 May 2005 09:25 - 2907 of 3104

This is not a good share to be involved in and you may well be in for some bad news shortly. My advice is to sell up ASAP!!!

optomistic - 28 May 2005 09:54 - 2908 of 3104

pro, if you are giving advice would you care to also give us the basis on which it is formed.
I could make a statement that the share price will be 2 next week and that also would be meaningless.
