Bunny's Beer Basement (BEER)

stockbunny - 30 Dec 2008 08:02

OK temporary accomodation for us ex-pats of Spacie's coffee house that is sadly now boarded up and in memory of Goldie's old pad the tearooms.

No fancy stuff, as this is temporary until we find a nice new place but it's warm down here with the fire and aga and I've organised a daily guinness, lager and wine delivery. There is a small kitchen in the corner and a few comfy cosy armchairs.

So feel free to take refuge when you need a break - self-service generally I'm afraid but when I can I'll rustle up a meal :>)

Ha, just tried to log on to my betfair account from Abu Dhabi and access to betting sites is prohibited.

I wonder if they monitor internet access....

Proxy time, Jeffie.

NinjaCloak or HideMyAss, Jeffie.

optomistic - 21 Jul 2010 16:02 - 2898 of 4886

Hilary. I can't understand Jeff leaving you in here on your own all day!
It's a bit early in the day but it's warm so I'm going to pull one or two pits of Guinness, you probably will see Jeff dashing in any time now :-)
I can understand if you don't want a Guinness but you are welcome....or any other of the weird concoctions whose bottles are covered in dust and in need of the attentions of a rare Bunny.

stockbunny - 21 Jul 2010 16:33 - 2899 of 4886

A rare bunny indeed but who needs more then one of me - don't answer that!
Sorry 'life' that weird thing that exists somewhere beyond the ether of the virtual world keeps me busy most of the time these days. Plus no stock holdings any more just the odd bit of spreadbet such is life.

Good to see the old place is still in use though and I hope everyone is doing ok and keeping well, bright eyed and bushy tailed ;>)

optomistic - 21 Jul 2010 16:48 - 2900 of 4886

Hellooooo Bunny :-))))

kimoldfield - 21 Jul 2010 17:00 - 2901 of 4886

Bunny!!!!!! hey! Good to see you. Here have a cup of tea. (Wipes dust of teapot).

MightyMicro - 21 Jul 2010 17:01 - 2902 of 4886

That'll be a bottle of MeJulie's Australian Shiraz and two glasses for Hil and myself, if you would, please.

stockbunny - 21 Jul 2010 17:07 - 2903 of 4886

Thank you Opto and Kim :>)
I'll just get that for you MM..............

There you go :>)

I need to hop off now but I will promise to get in more often, left some sausage rolls in the fridge and there's a tin over there with a chocolate orange cake in it for when anyone's peckish .....oh and can someone pay the guinness bill? Only they rang and threatened to cut the pipeline from Dublin again ;>)

kimoldfield - 21 Jul 2010 17:16 - 2904 of 4886

(Scrabbles around in back pocket for loose change.)

jeffmack - 21 Jul 2010 18:39 - 2905 of 4886

Evening folks.
I came out here for two weeks and now it looks like I need to stay for 4 weeks. Need to find another bar with good guinness.

Philipino wife anyone, seems to be lots here with english guys.

aldwickk - 21 Jul 2010 19:23 - 2906 of 4886

Already got one thanks

MightyMicro - 21 Jul 2010 23:43 - 2907 of 4886

I'd have one, but I fear that my current English one might have issues with the idea. I may have to get by with these afternoon flirtations with Hil over a bottle of Shiraz.

jeffmack - 30 Jul 2010 09:54 - 2908 of 4886

Good morning all. Cant get used to this working Sunday to Thursday as they do out here in UAE. Just back from the beach, too hot to stay there too long.

kimoldfield - 30 Jul 2010 10:00 - 2909 of 4886

Could do with some of that heat in N. Wales Jeff!

Here's a nice cold Guinness for you (don't let the locals see) and a nice hot coffee for me!

kimoldfield - 20 Sep 2010 22:32 - 2910 of 4886

(Cough, splutter) Wow, it's a bit dusty in here! Just thought I'd pop in for a nice cold Guinness to wait while MoneyAM fix my Stockwatch. ;o)

Hmmm, I'm a bit hungry, what's in the fridge? (Struggles to open door, which suddenly springs open) Aaaaagh! What's that???!!!!!

jeffmack - 20 Sep 2010 22:46 - 2911 of 4886

Ill have a cold one with you kim

kimoldfield - 20 Sep 2010 22:51 - 2912 of 4886
