Bunny's Beer Basement (BEER)

stockbunny - 30 Dec 2008 08:02

OK temporary accomodation for us ex-pats of Spacie's coffee house that is sadly now boarded up and in memory of Goldie's old pad the tearooms.

No fancy stuff, as this is temporary until we find a nice new place but it's warm down here with the fire and aga and I've organised a daily guinness, lager and wine delivery. There is a small kitchen in the corner and a few comfy cosy armchairs.

So feel free to take refuge when you need a break - self-service generally I'm afraid but when I can I'll rustle up a meal :>)

MightyMicro - 31 Dec 2008 11:20 - 29 of 4886

Morning all, usual Buck's Fizz for brekkers, please.

Here you are Derek .....

:o) Nice one Spacie.

Happy New Year to all.

Enjoy the fireworks Spacie, we'll catch up in 12 hours! My 2 youngest daughters are a further 5 hours behind, one in New York, the other in Jamaica. This New Year thing lasts a long time.

stockbunny - 31 Dec 2008 13:12 - 32 of 4886

I'm clocking off people so I'll leave you with the food and drink of course LOL and a wish to everyone for a healthy, happy and wealthy 2009 - sees you Friday :>)

Spaceman - 31 Dec 2008 13:14 - 33 of 4886

Well we made it its 2009 !!!

Just watched the fireworks on TV as usual Sydney did them brilliantly, we are about 5kms from the harbour Briodge and could hear and feel them !!!

The friends we are staying with had an invite to the Lord Mayors party at the Opera House so they would have had a fantastic view.

kimoldfield - 31 Dec 2008 13:50 - 34 of 4886

Yes, a spectacular show as usual. Didn't see the end; Sky lost the signal. Saw the first 10 or so minutes though.

-4c here, but the sun is shining so I'm off for a walk by the river Clwyd to build up an appetite for tonight. Champagne's in the fridge, though in these temperatures I could just pop outside for a few minutes!

Greystone - 31 Dec 2008 23:19 - 35 of 4886

Happy New Year all!

May we all be richer this time next year.

required field - 02 Jan 2009 07:54 - 40 of 4886

This is like a throw-back to the 1980's.....oh that cosy feeling !, is this "the Breakfast Club" ?

optomistic - 02 Jan 2009 08:53 - 41 of 4886

'throw backs' from the 80's........don't know, never had time for breakfasts then:-)
Anything for me this morning Bunny please.....

stockbunny - 02 Jan 2009 09:00 - 42 of 4886

Well the 80's were pretty good in many ways LOL
Breakfast open to all - help yourself and no charge, has to be good in this day and age! :>)
Opto - tea and a danish then :>)

optomistic - 02 Jan 2009 09:02 - 43 of 4886

Yes please Bunny, if there's nothing warmer cooking :-)

stockbunny - 02 Jan 2009 09:13 - 44 of 4886

Sorry but I can't do cooked food in the mornings past toast and porridge, as soon as it involves protein foods or a frying pan it's not bunny-tummy-friendly until lunchtime - but you go ahead no worries.

optomistic - 02 Jan 2009 09:18 - 45 of 4886

Socs, where are you...we need a FEB specialist. (mornings only)

kimoldfield - 02 Jan 2009 11:59 - 46 of 4886

Just in time to say good morning all!

kimoldfield - 02 Jan 2009 12:01 - 47 of 4886

And now, good afternoon all, well it is in the Vale of Clwyd anyway.

I can do a really good FEB, just give me a Kim-friendly stove that doesn't blow up and a frying that doesn't mysteriously burst into flames and it's not a problem. :o)

stockbunny - 02 Jan 2009 12:17 - 48 of 4886

Thank you for the kind offer Kim but until the weather is good enough for you to cook al-fresco I think it probably best you don't ;>)
