Updated for Tuesday 23rd March, but:
a) FTSE 100 and 250 in's and out's not yet changed.
b) Hyperlinked charts are out of sync.
And everything's all over the shop so Pivots are only worth a glance atm..

I'm glad you mentioned the links were out of sync, Brian.
I thought my spreadsheet had gone wrong. It's not a problem
though, if I hover over the link it brings up the Epic code
for the chart it's referring to.
Excellent work and still much appreciated.
Melnibone.

Updated for Thurs 25th March.
Chart and Reuters hyperlinks now back in sync.
Apeman: Pivots are pretty reliable, but don't be a blind follower.. Hope they help you though.

Updated for Friday 26th March....
LW: Any idea how many people "over here" use Pivots?
Others: Just do a quick post if you use them. Even a "what are they?" will do.

Just a note to Brian to confirm that I use Pivots. The information is incredibly useful although, as you advised, the Pivot points are not to be used blindly. For myself I have found them a comforting aid when they confirm my own research on stocks that I am holding or following closely -even when they confirm my own stupidity for forgetting to put a stop loss order in when I knew full-well that one of my holdings was hovering close to what I calculated to be a support level!!!!
I am also finding your info as an invaluable aid when I start researching a potential new holding.
Very many thanks for your work in producing the data and long may it continue -it is highly appreciated.

Hi Brian,
I use pivots, but not blindly. I use them as targets for what
I think is going to happen to a stock within the constraints
of the FTSE movements which are in turn controlled by the
US indices movements and pivots.
Hope that makes sense.
Melnibone.

Brian,
I think something may be wrong with your spreadsheet.
There seems to be some wrong closing prices and pivot points.
Eg: Take a look at AVZ and SBRY. Your close prices and consequent
pivots seem to be nearer Fridays opening prices, not the closing
prices?
Has some of the sheet not updated correctly, or something?
Melnibone.

Hi Brian,
Been on holidays came back and saw this. Marvellous. Yes, I use Pivots.
Thanks for sharing. However, I can't seem to open the Ftse100 link.
