Mid-States - Luke Johnson bidding? (MST)

bottom line - 25 Nov 2004 08:20

nice little cash shell

Strong rumour that Gary Ashworth (Abacus Recruitment) and Luke Johnson(Pizza Express etc) are looking at reversing Interquest - their new recruitment company into Mid-States - loose talk suggests anything up to 55p , maybe a bit far fetched but could it double?

http://www.interquestgroup.com/company/directors.htm

Up a couple of pence the last few days on these rumours

What's up then MG? You sold your shares to today's buyers? LOL

Having planted the seed, I see "Bottom Line" has disappeared from view......!

(Just playing Devil's Advocate, you understand, hehe!)

Mmmm ... salad for lunch with a hot MuSTard dressing.

You are slipping again MG, off the first page again!!

mg - 01 Dec 2004 15:10 - 36 of 96

Bones
I'm playing it cool - don't want everyone and his uncle in MY ramp camp ;)

Bones - 01 Dec 2004 16:14 - 37 of 96

Noted and logged, MG - noted and logged ;)

mg - 02 Dec 2004 09:15 - 38 of 96

bones
Nutter and loco may well be a better description.

Just bought a few more for the SIPP using some of the money those evil bar stewards at Equitable Life had stashed under their beds - collecting dust.

Decided that the cruel reduction of transfer value would be more than compensated for by the rise we'll see in good 'ole MST - once they finally get their fingers out and tell us what happens next.

All I'm waiting for now is the opportunity to put these in the Stock Performers of 2005 thread ;)

Watch out, watch out ... the hunny MonSTer's about. ;)

mg - 02 Dec 2004 15:13 - 40 of 96

Someone's been rolling over their hunny MonSTers - cheeky chappies - why don't they buy them and then they can rest easily at night ;)

Hope no-one gets caught in T+ trap because I reckon they'll suspend before coming back to the market - if the above rumour is correct of course ;)

chocolat - 02 Dec 2004 16:01 - 41 of 96

There were ten in the bed and the little one said, "roll over, roll over" :)

chocolat - 02 Dec 2004 23:19 - 42 of 96

Mmmm, there's nothing like a good MuScadeT to round off a choccie pud.

chocolat - 03 Dec 2004 16:20 - 43 of 96

Watch out for another one, Ninje ;)

mg - 06 Dec 2004 09:42 - 44 of 96

Oooops
Neglecting my duty - nearly slipped off the front page.

Notice that Staffline Recruitment are coming to market this Wednesday - at 80p - having raised 7.3m - maybe it's the time of the year for such stock ;)

Blue collar v White collar agency

But slightly spooky timing!

Bones - 06 Dec 2004 16:58 - 45 of 96

MG - spooky timing? Why, what does it coincide with? Explain laddie! ;)

mg - 06 Dec 2004 17:26 - 46 of 96

Thought that might wake you up !!

My reference is to the float of a recruitment company at the same time as we are expecting to hear something about little MST. COincidence also that the amount raised is 7.3m - very close to the value which MST is - in cash terms.

Don't get so jumpy - that million shares you've acquired seruptitiously (never make it on that kids spelling show) - will still let you do a Dailos - I've got shedloads of MST - so there..... sort of thing ;)

Bones - 06 Dec 2004 21:41 - 47 of 96

Not quite a million; well, actually, a long way from a million (!!), but enough to be going on with in my little SIPP.....that was my 15k today btw; a wee nibble...

Dailos - 06 Dec 2004 22:12 - 48 of 96

Didnt go in heavy with these, bought 30000 @ 16.2p for a bit of fun, might add but cant find out much at the moment despite being having a good contact in the sector.
