What stops you voting then Fred ? You to me never have a good word to say about DC or the Cons. Very rarely if ever comment on the matching sometimes far worse comments/actions of the Labour party. Certainly very rarely criticise the Labour party. You come across as an ardent Labour supporter to me. So what puts you off about Labour that stops you putting a cross on the ballot paper. Are you frightened of their policies? Something does not add up? Because if you was so against the Cons to the point you are, you would be first in the voting queue. Never been able to weigh you up.

At my age I can afford to be brave, but voting for any party doesn't attract me.

Always, tended to walk my own paths and tender not been affiliated to, or have need of groups.

If you knew me well you would see over the past I have been critical of Labour, Lib/Dems and Tories and some of the "batty" smaller groupings, when they are proposing what I think "inappropriate" policies or they are behaving corruptly.

Also, I feel that in many ways the form of "democracy" we have has too many weaknesses and my vote is inconsequential at elections.

In general I tend to align with the moderate left of centre policies, but see the necessity of responsible capitalism, as well as responsible "well managed" state control of certain "infrastructure and services" .

But what does get up my nose is elitism, patronizing behaviour and similar forms of abuse.

Hence, my baiting!

The present cabinet does not reflect the country,it reflects the the top 10% of this country only.

I certainly wont vote Tory again until we get a better balance in the cabinet and that includes more women. A cabinet that knows whats going on not just in London but outside it.
