Hello fellow SEO investors. I wandered over from another BB. Not experienced but learning from those who are. You seem like a nice knowledgeable bunch. I'm not totally stupid though. I've held SEO from 5p, so I am lucky which is much important!
insiderinside
You are so right. I don't know why I couldn't see it before. How could we have all been so misled. I'm selling immediately before we're down to 4p.
Thanks alot.

Down today folks but generally shite day all round, I only have 4 stocks at moment and 3 were green so musn't grumble. Unbelieveable amount of plonkers around today, were they shorters, BPRG bittersods or folk wishing they had listened earlier. Blinding move Baza, use BPRG to raise funds for SEO!!
Summary of week, FTSE hammered. SEO UP. Another engineering deal with Advanced Energy signed in advance of "potential" roll-out to Walmart via Asda.
BPRG sp in the shite albeit possibly temporarily, calls for a new board, need to stop haemorraging cash (have cash but only through funds, how many more times will that will possible when they can't bring products to market that are commercially profitable??), is the cc going to be resolved outside of the courts? If we don't get any RNS's next week confirming conclusion of Asda trials or Walmart deals do not panic, we've waited long enough and it is all starting to come together with plans in place cleverly put together to minimise costs of a roll-out. The faithful have already been rewarded and the newcomers can see the massive potential of this emerging technology company.
Bosley, I'm up for a pint or two when we hit 50p.

Now having said all of that there is a lesson to be learnt from BPRG.
What if something did go wrong? We don't see it but neither did the ardent BPRG followers. Be prepared with your own strategy for continued success or the unthinkable and remember that there is nothing wrong with your individual strategy no matter what we all think and that this could and should change with each review of the latest situation. Despite my bullishness on SEO from what is now a low average price, some of you know I invested my daughters dosh for her. I took her SEO shares out before last weeks temporary EK led predicted nose-dive and locked in her stake & a bit of profit, the rest of her decent profit (from 5.45p)re-invested at 15p and she's up again already. What I do with my dosh is one thing but she can't lose from here now. I am comfortable with that.

I think that the drinks when SEO hit 50p should be somewhere in the Midlands so as many as possible can join if they want, just like our National Stadium should have been!!! Oh, just to please the shorters and de-rampers, same place when we hit 5p to drown our sorrows!!
Nice to see so many new names entering this bb, the support is growing.
By the way, well done Poverty for getting shot of POOMEDIA, that was my worst investment so far with almost 50% losses after costs, nice to see the sp below that of the Directors buys, self-centred, feather your own nest bastards!!
Glad I got out and put it into SEO, got it back and more since.

midlands is good for me andy. any good golf courses there? :)
i cant believe people have taken this dickhead seriously. in february a very similar pile of bollocks was peddled by someone called bigw , saying that seo would never do a deal because the machinery doesnt work!!! and then....whaddya know??seo sign a contract with asda . deputy ceo howard white took time out to call back deancroft ( i hope he doesnt mind me pasting his post)
"to express his disgust and to thank myself and other loyal investors for having good faith. As agreed, if there was bad news to be had, publications would be full of it. Bad news travels faster than good news. RNS's from Stanelco are full of good news because that's all that's available at the moment."
time to relax, guys. we have got a good'un here!

Well done, team! The evil enemy made to look an absolute twit! I particularly like the way that Dynamite ground him down with her heal - we'll keep her in the front line, I think. Quite amazing how someone can twist the very positive statements of SEO, ASDA and Evolution. He was quite certain there was something sinsiter with the three tests during April at ASDA suppliers. There is a very straight-forward explanation for these tests. It is that ASDA's suppliers are the people that actually end up buying the equipment so three of the leing suppliers have a chance to check it out for themselves rather than just doing what ASDA tells them - good diplomacy and, of course, it also buys ASDA an extra month for their exclusivity deal; they will milk this competitive advantage for all its worth. Incidentally, EK has obviously moved on from both SEO and BPRG with significant losses on one and gains on the other. Its a game to him, just like his betting on horses and football. I suspect in each case he doesn't put much research in: I don't think Tom Winnifrith or Zak Mir often agree with him and you will get a much better researched view from them.
The fall in SEO today I think can be put down to general market conditions. Some of the early fall was quickly recovered but the rest of the day the price was unchanged with good volume; buyers slightly outdoing sellers which was a good performance on a generally poor day. What does next week hold. On the no smoke without fire principle, it seems likely that a US sales announcement will come in the next week or two to justify the training of the Premier and Advanced engineers. Shares are stating as a fact that this is Wal-Mart, bos doubting them. I feel that you can no longer trust some of their pronouncements: they have got it completely wrong that Yoomedia is haemorraging cash when they had a positive EBITDA in March. Evolution are clearly also expecting a Wal-Mart deal before the end of April and it does seem the most obvious answer. Surely not an exclusivity deal. Should have a positive effect on the sp, perhaps to 25p. Onwards and upwards! Hope everyone has taken opportunity to top up. Do I hope that InsideOutside has closed his short - not really! lol!

Ta Andysmith! - glad to see the back of them POO shares. They still haven't reassured the market - and I think some folks will run the Shares mag - gaff or not - so who knows where theyll be next week. Having busted the important 15p barrier there is no support level for them now.
The laws of physics don't apply to YOO shares - What goes down - can still go down further!

Lets take a look at those RNSs - my comments in (CAPITOLS AND BRACKETS) representing my opinions - first one -

My comments in (CAPITOLS AND BRACKETS) representing my opinions - second RNS
Stanelco PLC - Re Contract
RNS Number:1658K
Stanelco PLC
24 March 2005
24 March 2005
Stanelco PLC ('Stanelco' or the 'Group')
ASDA adopt Stanelco's GREENSEAL technology
Stanelco PLC, the RF (radio frequency) applications group, is pleased to
announce that it has signed a binding contract with ASDA for a 12-month
exclusive (EXCLUSIVE) agreement for the application of the Group's GREENSEAL tray lidding
and thermoforming RF technology in the UK and Ireland. ASDA anticipate (ANTICIPATE BUT IT MAY BE MUCH LOWER THAN THIS WHY NOT SAY IT WILL BE OVER xxx AMOUNT) that
several hundred machines will be adapted to utilise the technology due to the
significant benefits it delivers (SO LETS JUST ANTICIPATE THEN MAY BE NOTHING).
The agreement follows successful trials at a number of different ASDA suppliers
and will mean that the suppliers involved in the programme (HOW MANY SUPPLIERS IN THE PROGRAMME 1, 5, 10 NOT VERY POSITIVE IS IT WHEN YOU CANNOT SAY HOW MANY) will, where
practical (READ WHERE PRACTICAL HOW MANY UNITS AND WHAT DEFINES NOT PRACTICAL NOT VERY POSTIVE IS IT), convert from traditional heat-sealing to Stanelco's revolutionary RF
technology (SORRY RF SEALING IS OLD HAT THE NEW AND MUCH GREENER SOLUTION IS ULTRASONIC SEALING.
The main benefits of Stanelco's GREENSEAL technology are:
- An up to 20% lower cost of packaging material; (UP TO ? SO WHATS THE AVERAGE ?)
- A higher integrity seal substantially reducing the possibility of packs
leaking;
- A removal of laminated plastics in favour of mono plastics, which can be
easily recycled providing significant environmental benefits and
- A saving of up to 70% on power usage in the traylidding/thermoforming
machines. (UP TO AGAIN WHAT IS THE AVERAGE AND EXPECTED 1 YEAR SAVING ?) (IS THE 70% SAVING FROM A PREHISTORIC HEAT SEALING MACHINE BUT PERHAPS ONLY 5% ON A NEW THERMAL HEAT SEALING MACHINE? OH SO VAGUE BUT IT NEEDS TO BE VAGUE TO FEED THE SPIN BELOW) (AND ULTRASONIC SEALING IS BETTER THAN RF SEALING)
The costs associated with conversion will be greatly outweighed by the financial
and other benefits indicated (STATING INDICATED MEANS THAT THE WORDS BEFORE IT MEAN NOTHING IF THE INDICATED THOSE VAGUE FIGURES ABOVE ARE NOT MET POTENTIAL THEREFORE TO ACTUALLY GIVE NO R.O.I. (RETURN ON INVESTMENT) WORRYING NEED SOME DUE DILLIGENCE ON THE CAP EX HERE) . It is expected that, according to plan (EXPECTED AND ACCORDING TO - ARE NOT VERY BULLISH WORDS ARE THEY NOT VERY CONFIDENT THEN), this
agreement will generate a revenue stream for Stanelco significantly in excess of
5m in the first year alone. Even before the first machine has been converted
ASDA and Stanelco are working together to look at other areas of opportunity for
the technology. (YES WE ALL WORK TOGETHER AND LOOK EVERYDAY AND WHAT ?)
The 12-month agreement will commence from (FROM AND NOT YET) the first Monday following two weeks
of further successful trials with three ASDA suppliers. This is expected to be
in April (BUT MAY BE DEC OR EVEN 2010). These commercial trials are in addition(YES MORE TRIALS NEEDED) to the completed trial
announced on 1 March 2005. The underlying access agreement to adopt the
technology will be between Stanelco and each of ASDA's packaged food suppliers (SO THE MACHINERY WILL BE ONLY BE IN SOME REF ABOVE AND WHERE PRACTICAL) THE SUPPLIERS TO ASDA AND NOT ASDA)
with Stanelco taking on responsibility for installation and maintenance of the
tray-lidding technology. (AND WHAT HAPPENSE IF THE SUPPLIER REFUSES TO CHANGE ASDA CANCEL THEIR CONTRACT MAYBE NOT)
Ian Balchin, Chief Executive of Stanelco commented:
'We are delighted to have signed a formal agreement with ASDA. This is the final
step of the first phase in the commercialising of this technology, and a very
significant step in the transformation of Stanelco into an intellectual property
business, exploiting the Group's core technologies. This contract is excellent
news for Stanelco and its shareholders and reflects the hard work put in by all
our staff. We look forward to working with ASDA on the implementation.'
Tony Ruane, Technical Manager, Meal Solutions category at ASDA said:
'This is a first to market for ASDA - real innovation. This could (COULD BUT MAY WELL NOT GIVEN TECHNOLOGY HAS MOVED ON TO ULTRASONICS) well turn out
to be the biggest thing in packaging for years (LOOK AT ULTRASONIC SEALING SONNY MORE ADVANCED AND BETTER THAN RF SEALING BUT WHAT WOULD YOU KNOW ABOUT RF AND ULTRASONIC BET YOU CAN DO A LOVELY LASAGNA IN A BOX THOUGH MR MEAL SOLUTIONS MANAGER ). The benefits for both the
environment (YOU GET MORE BENEFITS FOR THE ENVIROMENT WITH ULTRASONIC OVER RF), our customers and suppliers from this technology are far reaching.
The potential for the use of Stanelco's technology grows every time we look at
It (THE POTENTIAL FOR MY BANK ACCOUNT GETTING BIGGER GROWS EVERY TIME I LOOK AT IT BUT THAT MEANS NOTHING). Every visit to both stores and suppliers identifies new areas and ways in
which the technology can (CAN AND NOT WILL) be used (AND I COULD POINT YOU TO MANY OTHER PRODUCTS AND INNOVATIONS THAT HAVE POTENTIAL USE BUT THATS LIFE COULD MEANS NOTHING) . We are looking forward to working with
Stanelco.'
NO COMMENT FROM ANY DIRECTOR OF ASDA NO COMMENT FROM THE SUPPLIERS WHO ARE USING THIS TO SUPPLY TO ASDA NO COMMENT FROM THE CHAIRMAN OF ASDA NO COMMENT HEAD OF SUPPLY CHAIN NO COMMENT FROM PURCASING DIRECTOR NO COMMENT TECHNICAL DIRECTOR - JUST ONLY TECHNICAL MANAGER OF MEAL SOLUTIONS. PERHAPS IN THE NEXT RNS WE CAN HAVE COMMENT FROM SUPERVISOR OF SHELF STACKERS WHO THINKS ITS JUST JOLLY LOVELY TO HAVE SUCH NEW TECHNOLOGY AS FAX MACHINES AND RF SEALING ALTHOUGH HE/SHE HAS NO CLUE WHAT IT ALL DOES HE/SHE THINKS IT COULD BE USED EVERYWHERE EVEN THE CAR PARK FOR STOPPING THE LEAKS WHEN ITS RAINING WITH A BETTER SEAL ON THE ROOF.
OH TO READ WITH NOT SO ROSE TINTED SPECS ON.
I MUST ADMIT TO EVEN MINE GETTING SMEARED ROSE WITH THE INCESSENT RAMPING AND DRIVEL THOSE RAMPERS PUT OUT.
RUNNING OVER THE FIGURES THE REAL AND NOT THE RAMP POTENTIAL LOOKING AT A FAIRLY HIGH FORWARD PE FOR YEARS TO COME THEN KBC HAVE BEEN CORRECT AND A FAIR VALUE WITH THE ASDA DEAL CONFIRMED AND IN PLACE IS AROUND THE 12p TO 13p MARK. 2005 YEAR END (WHICH IS REPORTED IN FEB 2006 AND AS PER EVO FORECAST WILL BE A LOSS OF 900,000GBP). IF THE ASDA DEAL IS NOT CONFIRMED OR TURNS OUT TO BE SIGNIFICANTLY SMALLER THEN, WITH THEM HAVING THE MONEY NOW FOR THE PENDING COURT FINE A SINGLE FIGURE SHARE PRICE WILL HOLD PROVIDED THEY CAN GET SOME MORE INTEREST OTHERWISE ITS WAY BACK DOWN FOR THEM.
GIVEN THE RAMP BRIGADE THEY MAY BE ABLE TO HOLD THE PRICE AT THIS LEVEL BUT IF THEY DO THEN IT WILL BE A BLOODBATH AT INTERIMS WHEN THE LOSS IS SHOWN AND NO ONE CAN HIDE FROM INTERIMS WHEN YOUR BOOKS ARE OPEN FOR ALL TO SEE. WILL SANITY PREVAIL SLOWELY WILL IT COME SOON OR WILL IT WAIT FOR THE INTERIM LOSS TO BE SHOWN CALL THAT ONE AND YOU ARE VERY CLEVER.
THE TIPSTERS HAVE SAID BUY TO 18p BUT THAT FROM WORK ON THE FIGURES INCLUDES WALMART AS WELL SO TAKE OFF WALMART YOU ARE LEFT WITH 12p TAKE OFF ASDA AND YOU ARE LEFT WITH NOTHING MUCH.
