Israeli Gaza conflict?????? (GAZA)

Fred1new - 06 Jan 2009 19:21

Will this increase or decrease the likelihood of terrorist actions in America, Europe and the rest of the world?

If you were a member of a family murdered in this conflict, would you be seeking revenge?

Should Tzipi Livni and Ehud Olmert, be tried for war crimes if or when this conflict comes to an end?

What will the price of oil be in 4 weeks time?

Ethnic cleansing is not dead as a policy.

Lieberman's "Final Solution"

The right wing extremist and Israeli foreign minister, Avigdor Lieberman, in an article entitled "my blue print for a resolution" and published in the Jerusalem Post on Wednesday called for the expulsion of the remaining Palestinians from the 1948 occupied Palestine.

In his article he rejected international calls for an Israeli withdrawal to the 1967 borders saying that UN resolution 242 "never called for a full withdrawal from the West Bank," citing what the British and the American drafters of the resolution said about the 1967 borders.

He claims that the only recipe for peace is to create two states for two different people, a Jewish state for the Jews and a Palestinian state for the Palestinians, because as he puts it the dispute is not territorial.

To do that he suggest an "exchange of populated territories to create two largely homogeneous states."

Most importantly he emphasises that "There will be no so-called Palestinian right of return."

To make his proposed solution sound less drastic he says: "In most cases there is no physical population transfer or the demolition of houses, but creating a border where none existed, according to demographics."

He does not go into the details of how to deal with the Palestinian population in Acre of Haifa for example, let alone the unrecognised villages in southern Palestine.

The Palestinian state will be "demilitarized and Israel will need to retain a presence on its borders to ensure no smuggling of arms." [ie a concentration camp]

The Israeli occupation authority gave an ultimatum to Sheikh Muhammad Abu Teir, member of the Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC) to leave Jerusalem by Friday evening or be arrested and expelled from his city.

A press release from the office of the Change and Reform Bloc on Thursday said that Sheikh Abu Teir received a phone call from the occupation authority ordering him to leave the city of Jerusalem before Friday evening after an Israeli court endorsed the occupation government's decision to expel him from city, after his release from Israeli jails were he spent the last three years.

The Bloc consider the decision as a racist decision that was taken at the highest political levels and that it shows the extent of danger the scheme presents to Jerusalem and its indigenous population who are threatened with expulsion from their own city and that the state has started with the expulsion of their legitimate elected representatives.

The other MP's who are threatened with expulsion from the holy city are Ahmad Attoun, Muhammad Toutah and Khaled Abu Arafeh.

Hayes,
Check out http://helpguide.org/mental/obsessive_compulsive_disorder_ocd.htm

Maybe you should find out why the Israelis are threatening them with expulsion d'oh !

Haystack - 25 Jun 2010 22:03 - 2911 of 6906

They are the elected representatives of the Palestinians. They are being expelled from what is their home because they are members of the Hamas-affiliated change and reform parliamentary bloc in parliament. They are MPs and they live in Jerusalem. Can we deport MPs if we don't like them. Even worse we would be deporting MPs from another country that we are occupying.

cynic - 25 Jun 2010 22:06 - 2912 of 6906

so should sinn fein be compelled to take up their seats in parliament?

Haystack - 25 Jun 2010 22:18 - 2913 of 6906

Yes. Although it is not the same as these people do take their seats. They are part of a democratically elected party.

UK Jewish MP: Israel acting like Nazis in Gaza

The speech was made January 2009 and Israel is far worse these days. Very interesting video. Lots of very well made points.

"Israel was born out of Jewish Terrorism" Tzipi Livnis Father was a Terrorist" Astonishing claims in the House of Parliament. SIR Gerald Kaufman, the veteran Labour MP, compared the actions of Israeli troops in Gaza to the Nazis who forced his family to flee Poland.

During a Commons debate on the fighting in Gaza, he urged the government to impose an arms embargo on Israel.

Sir Gerald, who was brought up as an orthodox Jew and Zionist, said: "My grandmother was ill in bed when the Nazis came to her home town a German soldier shot her dead in her bed.

"My grandmother did not die to provide cover for Israeli soldiers murdering Palestinian grandmothers in Gaza. The present Israeli government ruthlessly and cynically exploits the continuing guilt from gentiles over the slaughter of Jews in the Holocaust as justification for their murder of Palestinians."

He said the claim that many of the Palestinian victims were militants "was the reply of the Nazi" and added: "I suppose the Jews fighting for their lives in the Warsaw ghetto could have been dismissed as militants."

He accused the Israeli government of seeking "conquest" and added: "

They are not simply war criminals, they are fools."

honest to God, I really do think a bundle of you guys on this thread are an accurate reflection of the hotheads, lunatics and rabblerousers in gaza and israel ...... one thing's for sure; there'll never be a sensible solution as long there are people like you, and your counterparts in middle east ..... both sides are thoroughly in the wrong (verging on evil), but both sides are equally purblind to their own stupidity and arrogance with a total disregard for the general populace for whom they pretend to be fighting ..... now i can see a good use for cyklon b and phosgene and the like

Clubman3509 - 26 Jun 2010 14:47 - 2917 of 6906

Gas they will understand.

cynic - 26 Jun 2010 15:28 - 2918 of 6906

that was the general idea!

In The Land of the B - 26 Jun 2010 17:55 - 2919 of 6906

The last three posts are disgusting.
Some of you are serious nazi scumbags and as such are way beneath sensible debate.
For people who have lost relatives in the gas chambers and torture chambers your comments are offensive in the extreme.
A gallows sense of humour is one thing, some of you are sick and plain evil.
They are fahel, fred, Greg Hayes, clubman and I'm sorry to say, cynic.
My wife's mother has a photo of her as a child taken at a wedding in the 30s.
There are 21 people in that photo. Only three survived the nazis.
I'm sure that little piece of info gives you bastards a hard on.
You will be delighted to know that I for one will never look in here again.

cynic - 26 Jun 2010 18:50 - 2920 of 6906

well that's one arsehole out of the way then .... let's hope fred and his pals join him

by the way, a lot of my family were also sent to the concentration camps ... most died there though one or two survived, so stop being such a sanctimonious prick.
life moves on, even if you and some others do not

by the way, have you ever visited one of the camps? .... it is a salutary experience

In The Land of the B

You may not like my last post, but I did not say those things such as likening Israel to Nazis. They were said by Sir Gerald Kaufman, the well known Jewish Labour MP. Perhaps you would like to call him a few names. Did you even watch the video? It might teach you a few things.

cynic - 26 Jun 2010 20:38 - 2922 of 6906

so might a whiff of cyklon b do likewise for you!
