RTD - Why? (RTD)

Nitefly - 15 Sep 2003 10:55

Why are we again at 10.5p bid?

It doesn't add up...

Good Results + Strong buying pre results + Christmas online buying soon = Price drop

Then again some companies that have debt for equity hanging in the balance, poor results and bankruptcy around the corner and they go up!

Why sell now at a loss?

Wont that be a kick in the teeth when we see 13.5p 14p again!

Best of luck all.

There was some strong buying last week and RTD is ticking up but I have to agree the pace is far too slow.

If there is no contract news, then this will probably trade sideways until it approaches full year results. But full year results should come in higher than expected, which will mean bigger investors coming in and a rerating. Still say 20p plus come January 04. - Only time will tell DYOR.

Good Luck everyone.

Douggie - 03 Nov 2003 09:41 - 293 of 2406

whats the bad news all sells today !!!!!!!!! :-(

dalrymp - 03 Nov 2003 10:34 - 294 of 2406

I think it's that CYH is all the rage!!!!! People are selling rtd and other shares to buy CYH as results are out in the next couple of weeks date yet to be announced) and expected to be strong. So the idea is probably quick profit with CYH and then back into RTD when their results are due.

scotinvestor - 03 Nov 2003 11:39 - 295 of 2406

RTD must surge soon i feel as all selling recently but price has remained firm. Any strong buying after this will raise price. RTD only need to mention something about further expansion or some news about internet and price will soar.

The charts are a tell tale sign.

Just be patient a little while longer.
I'm keeping them till at least this time next year as i think this company will show to be a good long term buy.

Regards to all RTD holders

Is anyone else with me in turning pessimistic on this stock?

Douggie - 03 Nov 2003 17:41 - 297 of 2406

yup blakester me too loads hype little substance....can,t get excited as some do over the 100.000 buys, i,ve got that many and consider myself as small a player as they come......now get a few 1.000.000 buys (still not a lot of money)then maybe time for optomism. my problem is haning sold other stock at loss to get in here short term on hype thi page (my own fault entirely) I cant aford to sell at present loss.... can I aford not to sell?????????..a break through 10.5p and hold would be a good step forward for me.so xfinger nip yer bum and hope.... good wishes to all visitors to this sit, with many thanks to informative posters.... find some good neqws pleeeeeeeeease xxxxxxxx

dalrymp - 03 Nov 2003 20:22 - 298 of 2406

A friend of mine who held 120000 rtd shares, sold out on Thursday taking a 4k loss) and bought CYH and he has made the 4k back plus. He tried to persuade me to do the same I wish I had. I bought some CYH on Friday and today but still hold rtd. I am seriously thinking of selling rtd for a while to try and make a quick buck on CYH.

There is nothing wrong with rtd and it will do well but I can see it trading sideways for another 4 to 6 weeks and I have never seen so many sells v buys as today, although the price held up very well. My plan could well go pear shaped but I am sitting on a 5k loss with rtd and although I know it will come good in the end I really do need to try and make some money quickly. I don't think it's too late to get into cyh.

I will definitely come back into rtd. If I get out tomorrow and there is contract news on Wednesday then good luck to you all - you deserve it. If I had the money to stay in both then I would, but as I said I need to make some money quickly.

Read the Cybit Holdings thread on www.advfn.com (it's very informative) and decide for yourselves. CYH was up 25% today and is expected to do the same tomorrow and I just can't resist.

Good Luck To All Rtd ers!

I think, over the next year, I can see this stock rising to at least 10.5p - xxxfingers everyone!!! :o)

scotinvestor - 04 Nov 2003 12:27 - 301 of 2406

why all the doom and gloom all of a sudden.

i'm in this for long term, that means at least a year and probably longer.
Only those wanting big price gains in a few days will leave this share.
I expect them to rise a lot come January

blakester - 04 Nov 2003 12:36 - 302 of 2406

Because, like Bank One said, "it's been talked up enuf without any aspiration" and I don't think anyone can see anything coming.

Douggie - 04 Nov 2003 12:36 - 303 of 2406

youve probably got it about right blakester, something to look forward to, you raised my spirits no end. was only thinking of joining dalrymp at CYH and put price down .75p !!! anybody interested in paying me to keep my money in my pocket could be your best investment, I,m a total jinx wherever I "invest" the share price falls.... still optomistic/stupid best wishes all xfinger D.

blakester - 04 Nov 2003 12:40 - 304 of 2406
