Israeli Gaza conflict?????? (GAZA)

Fred1new - 06 Jan 2009 19:21

Will this increase or decrease the likelihood of terrorist actions in America, Europe and the rest of the world?

If you were a member of a family murdered in this conflict, would you be seeking revenge?

Should Tzipi Livni and Ehud Olmert, be tried for war crimes if or when this conflict comes to an end?

What will the price of oil be in 4 weeks time?

Haystack - 27 Jun 2010 12:55 - 2930 of 6906

I think that removal of post 2926 would be a very good idea as would some the explicit references to Jews as well. This thread is dicusssing Israel and NOT Jews.

Haystack - 27 Jun 2010 12:56 - 2931 of 6906

Leaders of the group of eight major industrial nations have urged Israel to allow entry of necessary aid to the Gaza Strip that has been under tight siege for four years that led to the death of more than 400 patients as a result of scarcity of medicine and closure of crossings before their travel abroad for treatment.

The G8 leaders said, at the closing statement of their meeting in Canada, that the Israeli siege should not continue in its current form and that more aid should reach its Palestinian inhabitants.

The G8 welcomed Israel's decision to relax certain elements of its blockade on Hamas-controlled Gaza, saying "current arrangements are not sustainable and must be changed."

Fred1new - 27 Jun 2010 14:10 - 2932 of 6906

Fahel,

By posting,

"Why Are Jews Persecuted? Commentary By Jayne Gardener"

you are not helping the your case in trying to highlight Israeli humanitarian transgressions.

I think, it is alienating to an unnecessary degree of those who hold "moderate" opinion, and justifies the abhorrent positioning of some of those in the Israeli administration. It also enables the zealots justify their positions and try inform and form public opinion within Israel and outside Israel.

Also, although the question asked is interesting, much of the posting is rubbish.

I would think the reason for the "Jews" being vilified in the various nations is due to them being a recognisable "minority" and also the function which they provided as a group.

When a country enters into a financial, or economic downturn, an escape goat is needed to target.

You can see this clearly in different period in recent times in this country.

Ie the Irish immigrants (Welsh to England) Blacks, Asian, Poles, East Europeans.

People like to blame others for their own failures.

The Jews often played this unfortunate role.

Look at the blame culture in this country at the moment.

It is claimed by many, that it is the lazy unemployed who got us into the present economic problems, not the greedy bankers, property developers, money lenders, hedge fund managers, etc..

The only thing is the latter groups have better PRs.

cynic - 27 Jun 2010 14:29 - 2933 of 6906

posting reams and reams is equally unproductive unless one is an insomniac and has nothing better to do than to read the drivel and diatribes

Fred1new - 27 Jun 2010 15:58 - 2934 of 6906

Cynic,

I am not sure which of these three remarks applies to you the most aptly.

"Cynicism is the intellectual cripple's substitute for intelligence."

"Cynicism is the humour of hatred."

"Cynicism is the resort for the little man."

fahel - 27 Jun 2010 16:03 - 2935 of 6906

Fred,
I am 100% with your views, but I can't post some lines and remove the others as I am quoting Jayne Gardener or other persons writing, those posts does not mean I am totally agree with them, I might agree with some parts or most of them.
It is good to know and get idea what are others thinking of or to know at least there views. some post does not mean it is totally true or lies, but with the discussions and questioning might get or get closer to the truth.
I do now collecting and gaining information from Haystack as I said before he is an encyclopedia, genius and brilliant.

cynic - 27 Jun 2010 16:11 - 2936 of 6906

i know what applies to you - an incessantly gibbering baboon fits admirably, along with your other little disciples - you don't even make adequate rabblerousers or barrackroom lawyers

it's time you and your disciples + the likes of ITLB started living in the present and like human beings instead of a bunch of bee-stung apes

and fahel - truth is only as you you wish to perceive it

Fred1new - 27 Jun 2010 17:01 - 2937 of 6906

Cynic,

From your last posting, it is pretty obvious that all three remarks are apt in any consideration of you.

I think bitter may be another useful adjective.

Perhaps, you should count the number of postings you make in comparison to others.

ptholden - 27 Jun 2010 17:48 - 2938 of 6906

Cynic, I don't know why you bother with the idiots on this thread; I assume you're referring to Hatesack or Fred? One is an internet troll with no life, the other, an embittered fat old man, gone to seed, who has blown his life savings on shit companies like TAN, SEO & MDX (to name a few). It's easy to see why they clog up the board with pathetic ramblings. I just pop along every now and again to vent a little angst or to correct the more absurd posts.

cynic - 27 Jun 2010 18:19 - 2939 of 6906

me too really, but i just like to have a pop from time to time ... assuredly i never bother to read the rantings from either tribe of baboons

Haystack - 27 Jun 2010 18:42 - 2940 of 6906

As usual criticisms of Israel are dismissed as ramblings. What I post is a tiny amount compared to the huge volume of evidence against Israel. Even their own soldiers have given evidence against their superiors for the things that they have been asked to do. What was the phrase used long ago? "I was only following orders". This thread is 'Israeli Gaza' conflict. What do you expect on here?

Toya - 27 Jun 2010 18:47 - 2941 of 6906

I actually don't know why we have this thread at all on here. But perhaps it keeps some folks amused.

Haystack - 27 Jun 2010 18:49 - 2942 of 6906

We have the thread because it is a BB and BBs have a variety of thread topics. Not all are financial. You might as well ask about other non-financial threads. There are several threads that hold no interest for me and I do not read them. I would have thought that if this topic is off the menu for you then you would ignore it.

I think that most people have a poor understanfoing of what is going on in this part of the Middle East and it provides place to discuss it. The extremist view could do with being removed, particularly the anti-Jewish rubbish. It is quite possible to be anti-Israel and not be anti-Jewish.

Toya - 27 Jun 2010 18:56 - 2943 of 6906

I do ignore it generally Haystack - only looked in because I thought it might be worth a visit having seen pth and cynic post comments. Cheers!

cynic - 27 Jun 2010 18:57 - 2944 of 6906

posting it all 2,000 times between you and the other rabble does not make it any more or less convincing .... a cold shower and getting on with life might benefit ..... annihalation of hamas, hezbollah and the isareli gov't + all the extra-territorial meddle-bodies would be an even better idea

======

what ho little elf .... hope you've had a good weekend and that your toadstool is not shrivelling in the heat

Haystack - 27 Jun 2010 19:04 - 2945 of 6906

Cynic
I am not posting the same thing. The items that I post are either news items or commentary on news items. Why don't you ignore this thread if it bothers you? I manage quite successfully to ignore several threads where there are things that I disagree with and I find it also very easy not to comment on them.

cynic - 27 Jun 2010 19:36 - 2946 of 6906

i post as and when i feel like it, but you are right insofar as i do not bother to read the assorted diatribes, which if not identical, are generally much the same crap regurgitated, slanted as to which tribe of baboons is doing the posting.

let the f'kers annihilate each other and save everyone a problem (would it were that simple)

ptholden - 27 Jun 2010 20:30 - 2947 of 6906

No Toya, it's not worth it at all, but for those who like to drone on and on spouting the same media / Google stuff, I guess it gives them some meaning in an otherwise empty life. Whilst I have no problem with the thread per se, it should probably be allowed to wither on the vine, but then what would the 'baboons' do all day?

Toya - 27 Jun 2010 20:34 - 2948 of 6906

Hi PTH - guess you're right: it serves a purpose, and hopefully means that other threads are not cluttered up with this vitriol.
