Tell you what Harry, can't be arsed, without wishing to sound too alturistic, posting my TA was never for my benefit, only others.
Stick with Hyleo, you know it makes sense.

Altruistic. It's ok, I'm only worried about the spelling! ;o) As for Sola, well, nerves of steel required but ultimately a survival story with a respectable share price - 2+ long term?

Ref post #2887 : "The maximum return on this position is realized if US:SOL rallies to the seven level ($) by the time the options expire on July 17." It didn't & the sp has twice recently tested close to the $6 level & bounced back.
UK:SOLA also seems to be running out of steam again, which is a bit disconcerting.

SOLA in the process of making a higher high, although will be dependant on US SOL action when the US opens.

US pre-market SOL up over 6%, interesting day.

Just nudged over $6 which is a hopeful sign if it can hold there.

Slipped back to just under 4% ($6.01) however, over half a million ADRs traded pre market, equivalent to the UK's volume today thus far.

US SOL maintained today's (and exceeded slightly) the UK gains. Next target 240p, see what happens next week.

So it would seem that your post #2917 containing the hedging words 'suggest, possibly, may, ideally & assuming' has proved to be somewhat off target along with our posts predicting the UK SOLA (not SOL) price would likely drop below the 140p support level? Nice to know that we are all mere mortals! ;o)
Seems I wasn't off target at all Harry, just needed a little more patience.

I thought it might be interesting to look back over the 3-year chart, posted below. It seems the recent 240p was a clear break through the 208p support level of years 2007 and 2008 - this would now be the resistance level [PTH?]. The peak of 2008 is over 700p - so plenty of scope yet, though no doubt this will continue to be a roller-coaster ride (also known as a 'lose-your-lunch' ride: just make sure it's not your shirt you lose!).

Toya, agreed.
Whilst accepting the SP is in an uptrend and the inherent volatility associated with this stock I will be watching very carefuly today, especially US SOL to decide if I am going to close my position. Currently sitting on a 35% profit and would rather bank that than watch it disappear.
Two scenarios as always, assume the run is about to run out of steam and a retracement is due, probably only as far as the trendline or it does the 'SOLA thing' and goes vertical.

Hope you've banked your profit PTH - you can always hop back in when the sp has pulled back a bit.

Err, unfortunately not Toya :(
I had to go out and decided to let it run. SOL got a bit of a slapping early on in the US but is currently making something of an intra-day recovery.
Not only that, but I missed my short entry on CSR which would now be showing a small profit. Tomorrow will tell if that would have been a good idea or not (H1 results).
Grrrrrrrrrrrrr

Hope you at least won your match to make it all worthwhile :)
I reckon SOLA won't fall very far before it comes back up - possibly down to 140p at worst but more likely not that far? If I were to put in a Buy order at that level then you can be sure it won't reach it for a long time!

If it goes down as far as 140p it's broken down through trendline support so I certainly wouldn't advise buying at that level, more like 160p IMO.

Big swing on small volume this morning (163/178). Not really going anywhere at the moment, which is disappointing as I was hoping to have a regular flutter over the summer. Other stocks looking more lucrative.
