Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

It is an Allegro Bay.
Not the biggest, or the smallest.
Almost as old as myself, but loved by my grandson and granddaughter.
Chugs along at 65-70mph and drinks like a fish, but has always got me home.
It is warm in the winter and cool in the summer and has a large fridge and lives on solar panels.
Also, doubt anybody will nick it, but strangely have had offers to buy it from me.
One of my better investments.

Hospital shuts doors after overload 11 16/09/2013
A London hospital had to cease admitting emergency patients for two days last week because of high numbers of seriously ill patients, it has been reported.
The Royal London Hospital was unable to discharge patients fast enough to free beds for emergencies, internal memos have revealed.
The situation raises disturbing memories of the 1980s when NHS hospitals routinely closed to admissions because of bed shortages.
It came after health secretary Jeremy Hunt claimed every effort was being made to prevent emergency admission crises over the winter.
Barts Health, which runs the hospital, has listed the situation as a "significant internal event."
In an internal email, chief operating officer Len Richards stated: "No beds available for emergency patients. No beds available for elective patients. An extremely poor discharge picture," the Guardian reported.
The paper says NHS hospitals had fewer than 140,000 beds by April - compared with more than 280,000 in 1988.
BMA consultants committee chair Dr Paul Flynn said: "This is a familiar scenario in trusts all over the country. The pressures on emergency admissions can no longer be described as 'winter pressures' and have knock-on effects on nearly all aspects of hospital care.
"This constant strain cannot be good for staff, and, crucially, it threatens high quality care for patients."
Labour shadow health secretary Andy Burnham said: "The NHS has just come through the first summer A&E crisis in living memory and it would seem from this memo that the winter crisis has already started. Loud alarms bells should be now ringing in the Department of Health.
"Hospitals across England are operating way beyond safe occupancy levels and sailing dangerously close to the wind."

but fred, and in the nicest possible way, though you and your buddies complain and complain and complain, not one of you seems to have the slightest idea what you would do were you in a position to do so
of course, were it all that simple and sensible, then both the previous and the current incumbents would no doubt have followed your "suggestion"
by the way, just to revert a couple of days ...... though there may be very few consultants actually on duty at the w/e, there is always a full quota on call, which is the next best thing
