HARRYCAT - 16 Jan 2015 13:00 - 2952 of 3666

I agree Cyril. Best thing now is to position yourself for monday trading. I'm happy to hold and will add if the sp drops sub 26p.

required field - 16 Jan 2015 13:00 - 2953 of 3666

I think that if a bid came...shorters would be : how shall I put it...well there is no easy word..."stuffed".....

HARRYCAT - 16 Jan 2015 13:02 - 2954 of 3666

If SEPLAT walk then shorters will be smiling. Take your pick rf. It's a punt. Just don't bet more than you can afford to lose.
Brokers put a value of 25p on this , excluding the 'bid potential'.

required field - 16 Jan 2015 13:07 - 2955 of 3666

Yes but it won't last.....of the two : I'd go long because the drop will be 5p...that's all....so the gamble is short 5p....or if there is a bid perhaps 80p wham........nuts to short this !...

required field - 16 Jan 2015 13:10 - 2956 of 3666

Brokers bonkers....Afren is well worth 100p with an oil recovery.....$45 to the barrel is unsustainable in my opinion....

HARRYCAT - 16 Jan 2015 13:11 - 2957 of 3666

If SEPLAT walk the sp will drop much further than 25p as many weak holders will sell in panic. I think the latest low is around 20p.

cynic - 16 Jan 2015 13:11 - 2958 of 3666

but what are the extraction costs from Ebok?

required field - 16 Jan 2015 13:12 - 2959 of 3666

It won't last.....and are you willing to gamble against a bid....crazy....

required field - 16 Jan 2015 13:13 - 2960 of 3666

There is debt...we all know about it....but the market cap is below 300 million.....and companies think long-term....ten years ahead sometimes....

niceonecyril - 16 Jan 2015 13:14 - 2961 of 3666

RF My earlier post is suggesting that maybe some will get a nod and a wink?

Its possible to cover with a small short reducing the risk,i know one successful PI who
traded this way.

required field - 16 Jan 2015 13:16 - 2962 of 3666

Yes... long and short at the same time.....I have thought of that....

HARRYCAT - 16 Jan 2015 13:17 - 2963 of 3666

Hope you're not starting to fall into the 'weak holder' category rf?!!! ;o)

required field - 16 Jan 2015 13:18 - 2964 of 3666

if there some shenanigans at work it could go like this :...no bid : sp drops then a bid....and some big boys aware and backing all the way up..down and around...

required field - 16 Jan 2015 13:19 - 2965 of 3666

Staying put Harry....shares + spread...

HARRYCAT - 16 Jan 2015 13:21 - 2966 of 3666

ooooooh! ..........So double whammy if it goes t*ts up? No wonder you are nervous!

required field - 16 Jan 2015 13:23 - 2967 of 3666

no...positions covered.....just need a war or two somewhere but not in Nigeria...is the tits up an offer ?: I shall have to consider it seriously...

HARRYCAT - 16 Jan 2015 13:28 - 2968 of 3666

LOL! The American base at RAF Mildenhall is relocating to Germany to strengthen the border and support the Ukranians, so a good war might be in the mix at some point. I don't think it's going to be soon enough to help you though! ;o)

niceonecyril - 16 Jan 2015 13:28 - 2969 of 3666

Edging back up?

required field - 16 Jan 2015 13:33 - 2971 of 3666

Have to go and do some proper work....be back later....hope nothing bad happens...
