i was wondering if anyone out there had any strong views? this company appears to be delivering and has just turned EBITA positive after a great trading statement last week. seems like upside to +200p once results are out.
any comments or thoughts would be appreciated.

A break over 110 would be nice. (Last word, you should have had a penalty!)

Easynet transforms businesses across Europe with new contracts
Publication date: 02/02/2005
Easynet demonstrates continuing strength in its European markets with significant new business wins across Europe. The pan-European networking company has signed contracts with customers in its countries in the UK, Belgium, France, Spain, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands, which will use Easynets advanced IP infrastructure to transform their businesses.
Easynets customers are using its IP architecture as a solid foundation to facilitate and implement change across their businesses. They are cutting costs, securely linking remote sites, hosting advanced software applications and implementing disaster recovery strategies.
In the UK, Select Education has rolled out a network based on Easynets IP VPN MPLS network, which provides connectivity between all the companys UK sites. The solution meets its increasing bandwidth requirements and delivers significant cost savings.
Hago, a successful Netherlands' corporation in cleaning and facility services, is leveraging Easynet's IP network to upgrade its corporate communications, and Envia Telecomunicaciones and Alina Corporate Sedasolubles; Sevenday Cereals International) in Spain have selected multi-site VPNs.
In Germany, Easynet has won REpower Systems AG as a new customer - one of the leading multi-megawatt wind turbine producers in the German wind energy sector. Five REpower locations have already been connected via MPLS VPN, enabling REpower to integrate their customers wind parks nationally and internationally into their management network. A reliant network for our locations enables us to significantly accelerate our processes, said Michael Wenk, CTO of REpower.
In Belgium, Moore Response Marketing and in France, Ascott Hospitality Management have recently called on Easynet to supply the network infrastructure which underlies their businesses. Software supplier Ubitrade, also in France, approached Easynet as it needed a hosting partner it could trust to deliver huge volumes of highly sensitive data. Easynet advised a secure, encoded virtual private network with disaster recovery options, transforming Ubitrades business and placing it ahead of its legacy-reliant competitors.
Andrew Hobbs, business development director of Ubitrade, said: Ubitrade chose Easynet because it offers a high degree of security from the physical perspective right down to its network and telecommunications offerings.
David Rowe, CEO, Easynet, said: Our customers across Europe are identifying areas of their network strategy which are fundamental to the success of business transformation such as improved functionality, stringent Service Level Guarantees and enterprise-class security.

And this:
By Tim Richardson
Published Wednesday 2nd February 2005 13:31 GMT
UK Online, a division of Easynet, has launched a 2Mb service. The Broadband 2000 package costs 29.99 a month and comes with a free modem and connection. Oh, and there are no usage limits either, apparently.
Said UK Online general manager Chris Stening: "Broadband 2000 answers the demand for extra speed from customers who share their broadband with other members of the family, or are frequent downloaders, and often find that 512K or 1Mbps broadband is not enough."
Yesterday, Madasafish - the ISP that had its "Oi, Churchill, nooooooooo! TV" ad banned - wheeled out a capped 2Mb service for 17.99 a month.

Up another 1.5 today. You got your 5p rise over the last few days Prop, which is good to see. Every little helps, as Tesco say! Seems to be breaking upwards so a nice surge through Feb would be nice.

Looking at a s/b, but not keen on fins price, 112.2 to go long for March, IG not much better. Results last year 26th so maybe we will see some T+ traders come in ahead of them as well as with the breakout.
A contract or 2 with the results would work wonders here.

you are telling me! i just think there is potentail of a series of strong announcents which will drive the 2005 expectations significantly higher. if so my 200p price target is attainable.

Agree re the momentum. Been building slowly over the last few days. Kicking myself for not going long yesterday! Will see what the rest of the day brings but looking good.

It has indeed been a good week for us holders, more of the same next week please. Bones's short term target of 140 looks quite tasty.
