When OEP moves it tends to go up sharply like it did back in March may be a shortage of stock makes it go, it moves on very small volume.

IMO-SOLA has a long way to go yet-fingers and everything else crossed! I think the market is only just waking up to this one though there may be some profit taking later today.

soul trader are we going to see another sola roller coaster ride in the coming days,it hit 172 this morning ,good buying means interest is there,just need a push to its new highs.

Ateeq, it could well be rocky, but I'd hate to try and make any predictions other than to say that I'm still convinced that SOLA is going to be worth a lot more after the next set of results. but you knew that anyway.

With a dividend yield of 5.5% and the sp on the up its not a bad stock to have in your portfolio. But a little bit boring the sp is never going to double or half as the case may be.

If you haven't got any ERX you should get some NOW at .39 they are still cheap you could double your money before the days out, long-term meger bucks.

GOLDEN PROSPECT (GOL) - Excellent Interim Results today, well worth a read of the RNS.

SOLA up 3% yesterday, 7% today, lots more headroom left . . . .

Well I called that wrong (ERX) still 23% up not bad but would have been if you bought at .39 like I said I still say 10p long term.

Glad to report that my punt on Hardman Resources came off - out with 25% profit (not bad considering I only held them for 6 weeks!). However, I must admit that takeover prospects were not the reason I invested, so that was a bit of luck.

Anyway, I have ploughed the proceeds into tiddler Ariana Resources (AAU), which is apparently going to find lots of gold in Turkey in its current drilling campaign. Don't take my word for it, though; PDYOR etc.

Could be a good IPO PetroNeft Resources Plc, floats tommorrow... Google finance: PetroNeft Res, looks like there will be some news flow in the next few months, this will be a good short I think, especially if the market is positive

Tonker, I can't comment on the issue of shorting, but I shall certainly be watching Petroneft with interest, as it could indeed have a lot of potential.

I love shorting new IPO's, I have done so well out of it... This one might be a little risky though, but it looks like there are going to be some developements, as long as things go ok....
