Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Do we want socialism? The last time it was attempted, it was the downfall of Michael Foot.
Ed Miliband: I'm bringing socialism back to Britain
Ed Miliband has said he is "bringing back socialism" to Britain as he unveiled new plans to strengthen the minimum wage ahead of the Labour Party conference.
In a question-and-answer session, Mr Miliband was asked when he would “bring back socialism”. He replied: “That’s what we are doing, Sir.”

The last 4 polls on electionista(shown above) SHOW THE TREND IS GOING BACK LABOURS WAY.
Last week all the polls had them at just 3 or 4 points in front or level like the Suns defunkt poll.
Now they have widened out again. The trend is with labour.
Is it UKIP supporters moving over???, looks that way to me.

Yep the trend is now back with labour.
Its the voters that count not trivial side show bust ups and arguments that the press and media love to transmit.
No doubt it will happen at the Tory conference aswel, pound to a penny Linton Crosby will be enbroiled in some kind of smear talk.

The Sea Shell was the best fish and chips about 20 years ago. It was bought by a large company for a rumoured £2m. The family that sold it, opened another one in the family name called Faulkners. It was just as good as their original one. It is in Dalston, but has been sold to new owners and is now awful.

The trend Hays keeps refering to.
In other words the polls are turning back labours way.
No way do working class people want posh boys at no 10.
Remember the posh boys couldnt rule by themselves last time when the most weakest PM we have had in this country was in power.

Labour are going to make a monumental cock up of their conference this week. The unions have already said they won't play ball with his reforms. He will finish the week looking even weaker than he started it.

Doesnt matter the polls are going in labours favour.
The trend is with labour.
You cant have it both ways Hays saying the trend is against and now when its with them you just trash the trend.
Its a bit like how you trashed the SUN poll a few months back but now use it for your propoganda programme.

i certainly remember the Seashell but that was back in the 70/80s .... in those days, there used to be a string of very expensive cars parked outside, belonging to those eating in or taking away
Geale's in Notting Hill then went through a "trendy" phase, but frankly, i never thought it very good, and it may not even exist any more
Whitstable and Whitley Bay both have fine establishments i believe, but rather too far to travel of an evening to get the goodies home while still fresh and hot

Eurozone tensions bubble as Merkel storms to victory
Eurozone tensions are simmering as the bloc faces four more years of tough austerity under the leadership of conservative Chancellor Angela Merkel.

German exit polls on Sunday evening indicated that Mrs Merkel’s conservative bloc won 42pc of the vote and may be on course to win an historic absolute majority. A projection by broadcaster ARD put Merkel’s conservatives on 42.5pc, just over the combined total for the left parties who together scored 41.6pc.
Mats Persson, director of think tank Open Europe, said the result reflected "a validation of [Merkel's} eurozone policy" and the bloc should expect "more of the same".
Support for the centre-left Social Democrats stood at 26pc, with the environmentalist Greens and far-left party each securing around 8pc of the vote. But Mrs Merkel’s current partners, the Free Democratic Party, risk losing their Bundestag seats as their share teeters on the 5pc threshold.
German voters also displayed rising levels of anti-euro sentiment after a new eurosceptic party, the Alternative for Germany, looked to have come within a whisker of entering parliament, with an exit poll reading of 4.9pc.
Even if Mrs Merkel is forced to form a so-called 'grand coalition’ with her leftist rivals, a major shift from her dogged defence of German interests seems unlikely.

What I think the thread needs is a fear index regarding the next election.
I would think a crude indicator could be the number of posting Dreams and Hays make.
Of course it could also be measured by the number of inane remarks Manuel makes.===
But it is interesting to see the tory machine putting in the dogs and hyenas to scavenge, smear and ridicule when their fears are aroused. The stunted behaviour of boys and girls sent away from their mummies to gather like pack animals in various institutions.
I must see if I can somebody to examine this behaviour.

I think the immigration policies linked to apprenticeships is sensible.
Would lead to the increase of workforce skills and lead to a reduction in immigration.

Perhaps 5 posts have to be made for you to see one. :-))
Fred ''I think the immigration policies linked to apprenticeships is sensible.

I thought you being so educated would have thought this to be a ludicrous suggestion.
How on earth will it be policed ?

Even you, with a little help and cramming, would have enabled you to do that.
