Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Energy supplier could pull launch
A small new supplier planning to sell gas and electricity has warned that it could abandon the market as a result of Labour's plans to cap energy prices.
David Casale, who is planning to launch a not-for-profit energy business said, "If this looks anything like becoming policy in the UK we will pull out."

Another well thought out speech from Ed, the longer he stays leader the less likely Labour will form the next government.
He's more like Dick Ed, who was the energy minister who imposed the carbon cap, then laid into the gas and electricity companies for passing on the cost to consumers, that's right Dick Ed, where did he think the money was coming from?
Who had a prominent role in Brown's government which got us into this mess in the first place, that's right Dick Ed. Heaven help us if he ever actually gets to be in charge. It'll be back to the dark ages, literally.

Get some candles bought then George, Labour only need between 38% and 40%(confirmed on Newsnight last night) to have an overal majority in power and its looking that way, even the far right poll below has them on 39% the others will be far higher........
UK - YouGov/Sun poll: CON 34%, LAB 39%, LDEM 10%, UKIP 10%

Brussels does some totally appalling and profligate things
the trouble is, is that they are judge and jury in all things, an no outsider has any recourse
btw, everyone knows that (a) small section polls are unreliable and (b) the results presuppose that those numbers, come "the real thing", are repeated throughout the country - which they never are

ah well sticky, you believe what you like ..... you and several others love posting these stupid polls about 4 times a day, when they really do little more than clog up everything
you can start taking polls half way seriously perhaps 6 months before election day, but even then they regularly give results that are quite badly wrong
personally, the way things stand, i'ld be surprised if any party gets an overall majority, and even if it does, it is likely to be <10

Anyway you cant decide whats right and whats wrong posted on here. Nobody can bar management and they DO MONITOR closely this thread.
Just ignore if you dont know the score.

"personally, the way things stand, i'ld be surprised if any party gets an overall majority, and even if it does, it is likely to be <10"
I'd agree with that Cynic but also think.
I think that;
1. People don't trust politicians which goes along way to explain why many don't bother to vote.
2. People don't understand politicians or their policies, its abit like trying to check your gas and electricity bill. The numbers never stack up against the charges/savings they claim to have made!
3. Does it really matter who you waste your time voting for, the upper classes are in power always have been and will always look after themselves.
