Good morning traders!

In Asia today, the Hang Seng ended the morning up 225.25 points at 17,854.46, while the Nikkei was recently up 355.40 points at 16,437.95.

New York's main oil contract, light sweet crude for November delivery, was up 77 cents at $60.18 a barrel from $59.41 in late US trade overnight. The contract at one point plunged to $57.75 in US trading hours, a level not seen since February 16th.
