Hi All,
I have been trawling this forum for a number of months now and this is the first time I have posted anything! Now to my question? Can anyone recommend an indepth portfolio
software package either being freeware, shareware, purchase etc..? I know Moneyam has a web based Portfolio but I now feel after investing for a few months that it lacks the information required long term. Any help would be much appreciated!! I only currently invest in UK equities.
Best Regards,
Iankn73

Hi folks,
I'm going to ask one more time and hopefully someone will have the decency to
help me out as I'm new to this game and any pointers would be great.
Thanks,
Iankn73

Have you had a look at Sharescope ?
Bit more than just portfolio facilities though.

Hi Dil,
I have had a look at the Sharescope site and its exactly what I'm looking for and more...
Sharescope Gold should suffice as I'm only a novice, a one off membership fee of 80 then 14 per month thereafter sounds good to me. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction!

I have used Sharescope for 10 years and I also use a little known package called Excel written by a small outfit owned by William Gates, esq.

Cheers chaps.
Big Al,
I have noticed on most of your posts that you as well as some others on this forum tend to use semi colons, hyphens and brackets after you have replied to a post. Would you care to enlighted me as to its meaning?
Thanks,
Ian

Anything good on tele? I thought not.
Iankn73: those little symbols are known as emoticons (
emotion
icons). They've been around almost as long as email (which is a lot longer than most people realise).
See
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emoticon for a good explanation.

I'm familiar with emoticons in their image format just not in raw format.
Big Al,
I created an Excel spreadsheet for my Portfolio months back which was ok, I was just looking for something a little more professional. I'm sure Sharescope fits the bill.
As pth said I'm going to f@ck off now and either play a round of golf or just get bladdered in a Beer garden and take advantage of the sunny Scottish weather for a wee change since its been pissing down for weeks!
;)
