Good morning traders!

In Asia today, the Nikkei closed up 234.16 points at 17,011.04, while the Hang Seng ended the morning up 271.59 points at 19,236.14, both following the New York lead where the DJIA finished at another all-time high.

New York's main oil contract, light sweet crude for February delivery, was down 18 cents at $63.28 a barrel.
