Good morning traders!

In Asia today, the Nikkei closed down 262.08 points at 17,091.59, while the Hang Seng ended the morning up 15.38 points at 20,040.96.

New York Mercantile Exchange's main oil contract, light sweet crude for delivery in February, was down 14 cents at $55.45 a barrel from $55.59 in late trading in the US overnight.
