Statement re Potential Offer

The board notes the recent rise in the Company's share price and confirms that
it has received and is considering a preliminary approach which may or may not
lead to an offer being made for the Company.

The board's consideration is at an early stage and there is no guarantee that
any offer will be forthcoming.

Further announcements will be made in due course.

Press reports suggest the bid could be worth 50 million. Paul Allen, co-founder of Microsoft, has been rumoured to be the bidder, but this has been denied by his office. There is also a mystery bidder reported to be from the Middle East.

One step nearer as they made the playoffs. Two legs against Derby and they could be at Wembley on Mon 28th May to fight for the last slot in the premiership for next season. If they achieve this then I would expect speculation to rise again and show a significant rise in sp.

I don't have a clue, Oilyrag. Have held on to a few and am hoping that the offer comes to something :o)

Promotion to the Premiership is worth 60M alone in TV revenue (so I heard on Sky over the weekend).

nice if you can get it - but that will increase the asking price for the club if the takeover is to take place.
