'LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Minerva PLC said it has received consent from the planning committee of Westminster City Council to develop 193,000 square feet of residential accommodation at Lancaster Gate in London.

The redesigned development will comprise 92 apartments, with construction expected to begin in summer and phase I due for completion in 2010.

The property was acquired in a joint venture with Northacre PLC in July 2006 for 67.2 mln stg, Minerva said in a statement.
