Thought I'd start looking at what might do well in 2008 (as it's all a bit quiet at the moment)

If the title was shares likely to plummet next year I'd do better!!!!
But for a likely riser I like BRY.
Institutional and director buying. Good results.
The company delivers back office software for metals trading, which has been an active area this year, and if the doom merchants are correct, may be even busier next year as an alternative to equities.
Been in it a while, waiting for it to come good, but have never lost my faith.
