mojo47 - 14 Dec 2007 16:21 - 3 of 7

Are they in trouble then or what or is it an offer they cant refuse

HARRYCAT - 14 Dec 2007 16:33 - 4 of 7

Their interim results were pretty good, though much of their revenue is derived in Canadian Dollars which is not the best currency at the moment.
"Commenting on a period of continuing progress and profits, David Henning, Chief Executive, said:
I am delighted to report a strong set of results in my first period as Chief Executive. We achieved good growth in all our key operating metrics: order intake, revenues and operating profit. The first half of 2007 was a period of good
progress and we are already starting to realise the benefit of our increasingly international focus.
Our growth strategy has three parts: geographical expansion, better leverage of the assets we already have in to other retail sectors, and movement into multi-channel retailing whilst keeping our costs under control. Our pipelines
and order books remain strong and, notwithstanding adverse currency movements, we look forward with confidence to reporting further progress in the second half.

So my guess is that another company thinks they are worth a look. Up to NSB if they get an offer which they think is good value. I doubt they will sell at a discount price as they appear to be doing well.
