read and learn!

NXT signs Nissha deal
MoneyAM
Flat panel speaker firm NXT said it has signed a 3-year licensing agreement with Japan's Nissha Printing.

Through the new agreement NXT has granted Nissha an exclusive worldwide licence to use its bending wave technology to be applied in certain small touch screen applications.

Under the terms of the agreement, Nissha will pay NXT a $1.8m up-front sum in respect of the licence and thereafter will pay royalties on the sale of relevant products.

The term of the licence can be extended in December 2011 with both parties' agreement.

Peter Thoms, NXT's CEO, said: 'This is an important milestone for us. NXT has worked with Nissha for the last two years to develop applications for NXT's bending wave technology that can supply both audio and haptic feedback in small screen applications. Nissha's commitment to growing the touch screen market by leveraging its expertise, know how, production facilities and world class customer base will provide the platform for the commercial establishment of NXT's haptic technology.'

chessplayer - 01 Jan 2009 13:09 - 12 of 29

What I could never understand about NXT,is why they have never failed to deliver, though they have promised much.
I understand that the flat screen speaker technology is very good,so where have they been slipping up?

Haystack - 01 Jan 2009 13:49 - 13 of 29

NXT have been a company just hovering on going bust for years now. This year could be the year when they finally go under.

maestro
Go on, tell us about how 9/11 was the work of the US government and how the US never actually landed on the moon. They are always good for a laugh

ROFLMAO

mitzy - 01 Jan 2009 22:04 - 21 of 29

According to the Sun there will be a massive attack on USA in Early 2009..would this be the 21st Jan as some others have sugested.

goldfinger - 01 Jan 2009 23:09 - 22 of 29

maestro, the problem with you mate is that you give extreme targets etc etc.

Try and be a lot more conservative and people will probably listen.

And yes i remember your gains and returns on QXL against all the odds.
You are to be congratulated on that but one stock and a load of publicity never made anyone.

Its over to you and in all honesty im there to help out or a conversation on the PM .......no probs.

Look after yourself and happy new year.
