Co placed a lot of shares af 0.1p at 5p

Maybe the surprise is that big-investors were willing to pay 50x the face-value...Wow.

However, I note the sp is slipping, probably close to this "placing" price, as is so often the case... It's good that they can raise the money, but bad for Retail-Shareholders . . . . . whose position has worsened by Dilution.
This Dilution is about 25% . . . . yikes!

Recently, ann March 2011 issue of Equity to "Yorkville" (DYOR), but this 6m looks to be 1% of the existing equity (seems rather low %, doesn't it?). This has raised 300k - this doesn't look large enough to my mind - anyone explain in simple terms?

So, it looks like the City (whoever? paid 5p 2009-DYOR), didn't look too carefully...

So what of the "potential" - are they waiting for shovels?

EDIT (April 2012)- back to 3p-ish . . . the Co. did well Dec 09 at 5p, methinks.
EDIT (Jan2013)-Some City-deal for cash and "whitewash" which smacks of desperation and not (IMHO) in the interests of retail shareholders generally. These AIM-Rules were put in place for a good reason and if "Henderson" (DYOR) wants to takeover the company cheaply, the SP is likely to remain low.

Just for the record.....now after "Non-Core disposals" . . . sp is almost 0.5p - that shows the City types hat backed the 5p Offer (Start of Thread Dec 2009) were WRONG - but then it probably looked good enough to them, spending money that wasn't theirs. Yet still after almost 4-years the stuff is still in the ground. Hmm.

Another hurdle to overcome appears to be (recent RNS)..." the Bank" - for which read "Any Bank willing to invest in these ditherers" - Oh dear. . . . . expect further slippage until some Positive news is on-going; like they have struck something and found a willing Buyer for the stuff.
EDIT (May2014) - Oh deary; another Placing - but at 0.8p when the Market price is 0.6 ...eh? DYOR -see RNS, etc. Maybe a name-change "Descent Holes" - as I'm not keen on the prospect of all eggs in 1-basket, having got shot of everything else which we'd been told was profitable "soon"....
