Good morning traders!

In the US Friday, the Dow rose 35 points at 13,610, the Nasdaq fell 13 points at 3,136 and
the S&P500 was flat at 1,461. US markets will remain closed today for the Columbus Day
national holiday.

In Asia today, Japanese markets are closed for a public holiday, while the Hang Seng
ended the morning down 133 points at 20,879.

WTI crude oil traded at $89.46 a barrel and Brent crude at $112.02.

Gold settled at $1,772 an ounce.
