In the US Friday, the Dow rose 49 points to 16,322, the Nasdaq fell 11 points to 4,308
and the S&P500 added 5 points at 1,859.

In Asia today, the Nikkei was recently down 207 points at 14,634 and the Hang Seng
off 140 points at 22,697.

WTI crude oil traded at $102.59 a barrel and Brent crude at $109.07.

Gold settled at $1,321 an ounce.
