ainsoph ( love him or hate him )

superrod - 05 Apr 2003 22:00

the feelings of most posters on this site and many others are well known. my personal view is that he is a genuine guy, however, starting threads with the "epic" prat are of no use to anyone. there are several posters on this site who have hijacked/stolen user ids from other sites. why would they do this? other than to do that of which they accuse ainsoph. TO MISLEAD. moneyam really should get a tight grip on this kind of behaviour.

Haystack - 05 Apr 2003 23:16 - 3 of 22

Wouldn't it be better just to let ainsoph post and stop discussing him. We may not agree with him about a few things but he can say pretty much what he likes providing he doesn't upset people or get abusive. I haven't noticed him doing either.

Prophet - 06 Apr 2003 20:29 - 4 of 22

Squelch.

The one word answer. Surely the squelch function is supposed to remove any trace of an individual who's views you no longer wish to hear?

P.S. I might ask MoneyAM if there is a limit on the number of users you can condemn to the land of the invisible? Perhaps a useful number for upgrade would be 200, as the number of irrelevant posts is extremely high for such a new forum.

superrod - 06 Apr 2003 20:54 - 5 of 22

haystack

you are completely corresct. ainsoph has not been abusive or upset anyone on this bb. in fact he ( as a tad fan ) recently said that tad was a hold or weak buy at 3p. how can AMYONE consstrue that as a ramp?

the real facts are irrespective of a viewpoint on a partictular share, the knockers are in abundance. why might that be?

Prophet - 06 Apr 2003 21:03 - 6 of 22

Stick ainsoph in your squelch and very conveniently half the background noise disappears on almost every thread. It's so much easier to cover the posts. The one big problem left is that a further 25% are replies to him or complaints about him.

Squelch a few posters out on a trial basis, you will work smarter and improve the boards for all.

Fugitive - 06 Apr 2003 21:19 - 7 of 22

superrod,

years ago, on esi, there was the suggestion that public financial BBs might be banned because posters were unqualified to give advice. The BB community was (correctly, I thought)up in arms. I have seen many posts since, ramping, de-ramping, stupidity, obscenity. Little "a" is the only poster I have seen that has made me think that the "authorities" may well have been right!

Those who tried to talk common sense on TAD just got steam-rollered. Why are you defending someone who has basically lost you a load of your hard-earned? Makes no sense to me. I know you have lost a lot on TAD, and as a fellow investor/trader that gives me no pleasure at all.

The squelch button is, as Prophet suggest, surely the answer?

I don't know why people hate ains so much, what has the poor guy done.
I have no problems with him, every time i've read a post from him it has always been a true statement about a company and not fiction.
I know he posts a lot on here, but he has to be given credit for that, otherwise this would be a very quiet bb.
If you've followed his advise in the past and been burnt on one of his tips then thats not his fault. I've followed people in the past and been burnt, but its just a part of the learning process of investing. Learnt to do my own research now.
Please give him a break lads and get back to posting about companies, cause thats what were all on here for, to share info we have.
Thanks
joe.

Fugitive - 06 Apr 2003 22:31 - 9 of 22

joe

The reasons why people hate ainsey so much probably have to do with his lying, not admitting to getting it wrong (in fact he has stated he is "always right"), ramping crap stock (does he work for brokers?), use of multiple aliases, plus of course, organised ramping with other individuals etc. etc....

He has been chucked off boards elsewhere, and sadly this bb stands little chance of success while it remains the "House of Ainsoph". Shame.

ainsoph - 06 Apr 2003 23:42 - 10 of 22

jesus wepped ..... you are a bore Fungi ..... they say jealousy is the rage of the inferior ....... but what ever you are running away from ......... don't stop:-))

ainsoph

gravy - 06 Apr 2003 23:50 - 11 of 22

Hi Keith :-))

Why anybody would want to be jealous of a foul mouthed loser like
yourself is anybody's guess :-))

I see you have opened new threads on every stock you have been long
on for the last 5 years and most of them have fallen 90%+, no wonder
nobody follows you except your alias's :-))

Gravy

ainsoph - 06 Apr 2003 23:59 - 12 of 22

You are one weird peeps dreamer/gravy/bobbyt/rdg etc etc ...... you stalk me from board to board and even import my posts onto boards where I don't post.

If you look at yourself and how you spend your lonely hours - you will see why you are not successful and why you need to try and bash my success ..... you are in your thirties with no job - no house - no car - no family - no children and your only claim to fame is - you have posted some 15000 or so anti-ainsoph posts ............ wow ...... bet that looks good on your cv ...... roflol

ainsoph

ps ..... peeps may wonder why you need to say much the same thing on 15000 posts - if no one listens to me - why do you listen and keep reminding everyone that you are not listening ..... lol

MightyMicro - 06 Apr 2003 23:59 - 13 of 22

I trust that MoneyAM will simply delete this pointless thread.

gravy - 07 Apr 2003 00:06 - 14 of 22

You'll have to come up with something better than that Keith :-))

I hear you lost it at the Tadpole AGM recently, not the actions
of somebody who has never lost money trading Tadpole :-))

Always happy to expose you for the fraud you are ainsoph and all those
people who fell for your Tadpole ramping have lost nearly all their money
yet you show no shame !!!

Gravy

ainsoph - 07 Apr 2003 00:34 - 15 of 22

That makes 15001 nonsense posts gravy/dreamer/RDG/BobbtT/teri etc etc .....

First I have heard about losing it at an AGM ...... perhaps you can expand on that ..... there are maybe 20 detailed posts on iii about the AGM and no one else has talked about it.

I appreciate you have no money and were stopped from trading but seems a bit sad to make 15001 anti- ainsoph posts to try and get it back :-))

Get a life ..... your other alias was offering his the other day :-)) ..... anyway, must leave you now - keep up the work - another 4999 and you will get a card from a queen ..... ooops - the queen

Fugitive - 07 Apr 2003 07:16 - 16 of 22

I can understand moneyam not wanting to ban him altogether, but an "ainsoph limiter" might be a good idea - limit his posts to around 5 per day. That way others might feel they can contribute something. At the moment if any conversation gets going, it gets mangled by huge press releases being thrown in.

F

ainsoph - 07 Apr 2003 08:05 - 17 of 22

Not sure I have seen ANY contributions from you Fungi .....ALL your posts seem to include both my name and a slagging .... seems to me you are incapable of trading or actually posting in any meaninful way. Perhaps you can illustrate some of your contributions? I doubt whether I made more than 5 posts anywhere over the weekend but note you were still slagging me off on every bb .... you are one weird little peeps

Maybe you should take time out - or start your own threads - I am sure I don't want you on mine as you contribute Ziltch

just make it impossible for them to view each others' posts

easy

Kayak - 07 Apr 2003 14:15 - 20 of 22

lol dick, actually if none of us were able to see anyone else's posts it would certainly cut down on arguments. Good idea :-)

dickdasterdly10000 - 07 Apr 2003 14:23 - 21 of 22

looks like its working already

I met the person referred to in the header at a meeting recently, which I have been warned not to specify.
I found him to be severely traumatised, & understandably so, by his losses on a particular share, which again is not worth the mention, this understandably.
I would not use the ` lose it` term as it is rude, but the person was several times called to order by the bord, again he explained to me later that he had lost a small fortune on the share in question.
I hope this sets the record straight..
