I'm sure I've seen reference to be able to send private messages via this board, but how do you do it?

Logically, you'd click on the user ID and there'd be a link from there, but no...

The link only appears if the person in question has enabled the messaging system. Also, they have to enable it specifically on both BBs (unless that issue has been fixed). For instance, Felix, you have not enabled yours :-)

Personally I think that the messaging system ought to be enabled by default with the option to disable.
