Politician in massage parlour death

Prominent Plaid Cymru politician Phil Williams died after visiting a Cardiff massage parlour, it has emerged.
Police were called to a Touch of Class in Woodville Road, Cathays at around 1025 BST on Tuesday night.

Dr Williams was taken to University Hospital Wales where he was pronounced dead.

Officers are not treating the death as suspicious and a post mortem examination will be carried out on Thursday.

"We are investigating on behalf of the coroner following the death of a man in his 60s in the Cathays area of the city," said a South Wales Police spokesman.

"The death is not being treated as suspicious - the coroner has been informed but formal identification has not yet taken place."

Dr Williams' death was announced on Wednesday night - he leaves a widow and two children.
