I have recently been approached by a company called Cambridge Global reegarding an off shore investment opportunity with a company in the us called Slender Life. I have some concerns on how legit this is, please advise if anyone else has been approached and what your thoughts are.

Thanks and regards to all

Someone I know was, just like you, approached several years ago. Same scenario, an offshore broker selling stock in small US companies. Lots of hype, glossy brochures etc and the guy was a superb salesman.

My friend bought about 10k worth of investments. The problems he found were (a) the stocks were unquoted and therefore difficult to price (b) it was very dificult to get any straight answers from the the broker (c) the stocks were very illiquid - it took him several months to be able to sell these "investments".

He was in for about 5 years, and came away with half of his original investment, this in a period when stockmarkets were generally doing OK.

IMHO, steer clear of this.
