Safety (NWD)

safety - 29 Aug 2003 12:50

Anyone know whats happening with NWD Group, I bought shares earlier this year but nothing has happened so far. By the way, I am a novice at this game so maybe I have bought a loser. Can anyone re-assure me that I may make a couple of out of this one.

Safety,
Can I ask you what made you decide to buy them and at what price?
You said 'Can anyone re-assure me that I may make a couple of out of this one'
Well you must be aware that this is a VERY high risk share in a company with very little assets. Although hopefully you will make a good profit you must also be prepared for the possibility of losing all or part of your investment.

I have 10 mil of these at an average of about 0.09. Alan page runs the show, and is looking for an aquisition. They currently havent got a business, rather a (small) cash pile. They recently bid for hsd, but were pipped be another Company. They do have some heavy hitters on their advisory panel, who are well regarded, and connected. The gamble is they can get their teeth into something decent, before the cash dwindles. They arnt taking salaries, but listing, failed bids, admin all takes vital cash. Im hoping for a three bagger, but am prepared for a big loss also. Its a gamble, a punt, very high risk, dont put money in you cant afford to lose... and all that.

ps, dont even think about selling big quantities other than in a rising market, the MM's will have you for breakfast.

NWD Group. I have 1000000 of the shares which I paid 0.12p for. I have bought them long term after reading in the Mail that a strong team were heading this company and would advise on suitable aquisitions. What does CURRYPASTY mean when he says he is hoping for a three bagger?

They would go up 3x from the current price which is indeed a possibility.
Also of course the downside risk is just as great.
A gamble.
