Weekend Chat Thread (CHAT)

Crocodile - 27 Sep 2003 09:58

baby.jpgMet my grandson for the first time on Wednesday. This 9.5lb  baby is called Zander and arrived nearly  to big for many of his new clothes. Mom and baby are doing well but granddads wallet is still a little sore.

This new outburst of earthquake activity in Japan has really worried the residents of Dudley following the devastating 5.2 quake here 2 years ago. With good reason residents have been pouring out of the area heading towards safer locations such as Oxford.  I am to convinced the 'big one' could hit here at any moment so I have packed the car and decided to spend a few days away in France.

Hope you all have a good weekend

David

I can understand your worries about an earthquake Croc, having survived
the last big one in Mexico. Terrifying.

I will also use this excuse next time I feel like a day in France.

Congrats croc, don't have much time to spend on the boards just now but thought I had to add my best wishes to you and grandma croc, I am slightly younger than you and no kids but have loads of peers who are encountering grandparenthood, believe me what they say itt'l cost a fortune,,,,,, and worth twice as much ;-))

Interesting comments on the , "will it ever take off thread", I am still with the other side , mainly because of ease and idleness but must admit miss some serious input , as for adding constructive thoughts , I am an instinct and buy and hold untill whenever trader at the moment as I feel the intraday market is too shallow just now and I cannot commit the vital hours.

Again my very best wishes to you and yours , hope all are well and happy

JC
