Weekend Chat Thread. (CHAT)

Crocodile - 10 Oct 2003 17:48

A good week for many on the board with PDX, Amersham & Matalan all bringing in the money.  The Investors room is at last starting to gather momentum with some good threads and new ones added daily. Also it was a pleasure to see the return of Golddog on his  GD's Tea Rooms thread.

I believe the recent revival of the room is partly due to the regular postings by Mike, Haystacks, Little Women and Kayak. Also helped by the The Playboy who gets  the Banks Bitter poster of the week award. He posts his useful pivot point and technical analysis daily without fail on the Investment room and Traders room.

Thanks TP

Well my new grandson has just arrived so lots of cooey coo's , strange noises (from him) and a couple of sleepless nights ahead :-)

Have a good weekend

D.

HT.

Ps croc would you be old Greystone with this new weekend chat thread ??.

Crocodile - 11 Oct 2003 17:19 - 8 of 13

highone
Post the weekend thread every week on the Traders room and normally on here unless I forget it.
By the way I started the Weekend thread on ADVFN until my friend Alan took over and did a much better job of it than I will ever do!
Enjoy the cafe myself and reding the excellent potings on there. Just nice to see the dog back :-)

little woman - 11 Oct 2003 18:02 - 9 of 13

Hi croc, thanks for remembering me. I've not been around much as for someone who is supposed to be only working part-time I seem to be away working a lot!!!!

I need to re-evaluate what I am going to do with myself and not panic and accepting anything that comes my way! Although going by one call I received I may not have any choice in the matter sooner rather than later....

It'll be good to have Golddog back - it's a while since I actually visited the tea rooms, which is a shame because the company there is excellent. I wonder if he feels up to restarting the competition?

Spent the day re-organising my e-mail address book, e-mailing friends that haven't heard from me for a while and deleting several hundred e-mails! I really lead an exciting life!

hightone - 12 Oct 2003 12:23 - 10 of 13

Here's to some decent sleep some of the time for Croc.over the weekend with the grandson around! Enjoy the fun!
Little Woman - hope you manage to get some time to do that personal re-evaluation and good luck, don't let other things or people take the control element of your life out of your hands no matter how hard they try to.
Hope everyone else is having a good weekend - bit windy out there, an anchor and a long piece of string to attach to your ankle may be useful. Cheers! SBunny
