loadsadosh,

I organised a meeting a couple of months ago, for people in the south to get together, meet, have something to eat & drink etc.

This is the second one, I've now organised but it has taken me a while to post the details as I hadn't found anywhere suitable to hold it, until this afternoon.

little woman - 24 Oct 2003 08:35 - 8 of 27

Hi Buckets,

Yes, this meeting is going to be more social than the last one (when Bullshare, Croc & Limpsfield gave us talks on Level 2, & charting.)

I intend to rotate everyone, (whether they like it not!) so everyone gets a chance to meet everyone else & chat.

little woman - 24 Oct 2003 15:39 - 9 of 27

little woman - 27 Oct 2003 18:31 - 13 of 27

Had hoped my e-mail would be sorted, but so far no luck! In the meantime use please gnidlogf@hotmail.com - If you're on the list above, or e-mailed me before Sunday evening (the last time I received any e-mail) don't worry.

- had a great time Nr Basingstoke yesterday - 19 came to the Meeting, an excellent exchange of views, food & drink.

Marzipan - 30 Oct 2003 09:03 - 17 of 27

Yes I agree, a good meeting. For me as a beginner it was useful to speak to other beginners and more experienced traders. I now have a 'to do' list to follow up sites, contacts and new equipment. Thanks for arranging mtg, little women, and look forward to the next one.

torotrekkie2 - 30 Oct 2003 21:47 - 18 of 27

Doh ! Have only just stumbled across "The Investors Room" and therefore this meeting that I would liked to have attended yesterday. Will anybody who attended give a report. ???

When is the next one ? How often do you meet. I'm an N-V refugee, and live in Reading.

Also subscribe to MikeWalters.com

Thanks...........TT2

Andy - 30 Oct 2003 23:12 - 19 of 27

toro,

"MikeWalters.com!!!!

Do you have any money left???? LOL!

Only kidding!

The meeting was in the Wheatchief pub, along the A30 near J5 of the M3, pub was fine, food excellent.

It was an informal gathering around several tables, and the chat centered mainly on trading rather than investing, (although that was discuused too), and also an objective discussion about the various BB's, and their respective merits.

All in all, a decent night's chat, Scripopholist demostrated his trading software on his laptop, linked to the WWW.

I think it fair to say everyone felt at ease, with experienced traders and newcomers to trading enjoying an interesting discussion without anyone feeling out of their depth.

I hope to see you at the next meet.

Andy.

torotrekkie2 - 31 Oct 2003 07:56 - 20 of 27

Hi Andy, thanks for the reply, sounds good and right up my street. I like informal. Hope to be able to make the next one, anyone know when it is?

Anyone who went a Torotrack beliver? ie: invested.

Thanks again for the reply Andy.................................TT2
