Anyone have any views on what's going on at Sibir Energy (SBE)

I read somewhere recently that the price should be 27 they are currently trading at 17.

They're expecting to begin increasing their output this quarter and should be profitable by the end of the year. Shell have agreed to develop the Salym field and Sibir expect revenues to be around 150m by the end of 2005, so there is upside here although you have to weigh this against the political risk, underlined recently by the accusations levelled at the Yukos boss. There has also recently been a placing of 150m shares with institutions and a director placed 98m of his shares as well that hasn't helped the price.

Thanks redvers

We shoud see another good jump early next year with a bit of luck.
