Eurovestech PLC
02 December 2003
2 December 2003
Eurovestech Plc ('Eurovestech')
Knowledge Support Systems Limited ('KSS') Trading Update
Eurovestech is pleased to report that in recent months, KSS, which was acquired
on 27 June this year, has secured significant new orders in both its petrol and
retail businesses. As a result, the business is trading materially ahead of our
expectations. Furthermore, the management of KSS now believes that the company
will be strongly cash generative in 2004. At 30 September 2003, KSS's net cash
was 4.2 million.
KSS provides pricing and revenue management solutions for the retail and
petroleum industries.
Within the petroleum division, KSS has recently won a 2.1 million contract
from a major European fuels retailer and has secured an extension to an existing
licence agreement with a US fuels retailer. These transactions will continue to
strengthen KSS's reference base.
Within the retail division, KSS has won a 0.3m first stage order from a large
US retailer. This customer relationship has allowed KSS to enhance its retail
product offerings. In addition, KSS has secured an order for consulting services
from a major European grocer and is now pursuing other significant opportunities
in the retail sector.
KSS's operations have been successfully restructured with operating expenses
significantly reduced and the business effectively streamlined, while all key
staff has been retained.
Richard Bernstein, Chief Executive of Eurovestech commented: 'Since completing
the acquisition of KSS, we worked with the senior management, to implement a
major cost cutting exercise combined with a tight focus on winning substantial
new business. We are naturally delighted with both the pace and number of recent
significant client wins and we continue to work closely with KSS's management to
try and ensure that the business continues to build on its success. '

Think there is a lot of hope in the current price but looking at the companies EVT has investments in I think the hope is justified IMHO. I hold quite a lot and continue to hold

Looks like only Moneyplus and I have any interest in this one but no matter I'm happy with the progress so far and look for more upside in the longer term. I note that Richard Bernstein has bought 200000 more on the 7/1/04 @ 11.625p This now brings his holding to 60,000,000 shares or 23.33%

Nice to watch them moving up gently--they don't fall back much, it's difficult to know when to take some profits as they are doing some good deals.

Eurovestech Plc ('Eurovestech')
Significant contract win for Knowledge Support Systems Limited ('KSS')
Eurovestech is pleased to announce that KSS, which was acquired in June 2003,
has secured a significant contract from a major US retailer of petroleum.
PriceNet, the KSS petroleum pricing solution, was selected after a careful and
detailed customer evaluation.
KSS provides pricing and revenue management solutions for the retail and
petroleum industries. The addition of this latest client brings the total
number of sites that have been licenced for PriceNet to just under 10,000,
making KSS a world leader in the provision of petroleum pricing solutions.
Richard Bernstein, Chief Executive of Eurovestech commented: 'We are delighted
with the progress that has been made by KSS in winning this contract and other
recent deals on both the Petroleum and Retail sides of the business. We see
these contract wins as important, both in terms of their commercial value and
the increasing momentum that it brings to the business, particularly in the key
US market.'

Thanks Janus=all good news for EVT. They are giving a presentation Seminar on Monday 29th March in London. An introduction to the company and presentations from three of their portfolio companies. I would really like to go but it's along trip from the depths of Devon. I hope it will push up the share price though. MP

Hi MP, I do know someone who is hoping to go to the presentation seminar on the 29th. Will try to post something on his views if he does manage to go.
My first day back from holidays and the fact I am further away than you prevents me from going.
I beieve there are going to be presentations by 3 of the Eurovestech portfolio Companies. I assume Magenta KSS and CJudge.
This share seems to be an undiscovered gem with very little interest and I'm happy to hold awaiting more good news
