Can anyone give a good reason for the offer price being increased when officially there is no news?

I have also held a large number of NWD for over a year also hoping that they come good. They keep saying that they are in the process of acquiring a number of companies but this has been going on for a while now so there must be some news of how they are progressing to come before the end of the year. I hope they don't go bust as I would be a little bit sick after holding the shares for so long. Lets hope we get some good news soon

What's going on today then ? share up 50% >> is this pure speculation ?
Is someone giving us an opportunity to get out before the whole thing goes down the tube or.. is this an indication that something positive is about to happen at long last ? .. let's keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best.. :)

NWD Group was unchanged yesterday at 0.07p despite speculation AIM-listed marketing services outfit was close to announcing several deals worth about 10 million in total.

Have you seen the announcement on UK-WIRE. Proposed consolidation and issue
of 34 million shares. I suspected something like this was afoot. thats why I
sold out or ashould I say chickened out.

2nd DEC 3.26pm - over 27 million share buys and 1 million sells. Why has the price not moved ? Anybody know.
