paragon - 18 Jan 2004 18:48 - 3 of 19

'cos the forthcoming results believed to be better than expectations

So The times said anyway

bishopjeremy - 18 Jan 2004 21:08 - 4 of 19

thanks for that

ptholden - 12 Mar 2004 09:21 - 5 of 19

draw?epic=CFN

I am surprised that CFN do not get greater exposure on this BB, the graph seems to say it all and they continue to rise even in the face of the
recent downtrend in the market. A very good set of interims also which states cash reserves, further growth, and therefore greater profitability. Can anyone see any downside to this company?

Lots of smallish buying this week....have they been tipped somewhere?

ptholden - 14 Mar 2004 22:27 - 7 of 19

Paragon

I understand they have been tipped on a tip sheet called Quantam Leap, which I read has a good track record.

Up 6.8% again today. Quite a few smallish trades going through. I read on another BB that it is quite difficult to buy large quantities of shares in this company. I wonder if this rise is due to the Quantam Leap tip?

Thanks PTH, but Quantum Leap not enough to cause the quantum
leap if u see what I mean.

Not unless it has revealed some new info anyway

ptholden - 22 Mar 2004 20:50 - 10 of 19

Must admit I was quite surprised to see the ever increasing Share Value of CFN, today has been the first reversal for quite a while, although not surprising considering the state of the market. I feel that this is now possibly over priced and will likely fall further back, I would appreciate other views, over valued or not??

Many thanks

There's been a big rise in these in the past couple of weeks with nothing on the RNS to suggest why. Anyone got any ideas?

My fellow investor and I already hold CFN
and today, have decided to add to our holding

wish us luck!

ps
We also made a visit to one of the 'coffee shops' after the deal went through
queue almost out the door (but went down quite quickly)
good friendly service
seating upstairs 30% full
downstairs 90% full
the right clientele
generally looking very good

aqafresh - 07 Mar 2005 20:09 - 13 of 19

CFN 186.5 today

nice when things pan out!!!

lots of flavor left in these beans

I am HOLD at the moment as I am already in heavy enough (for me)

but new investors should still see tidy captial gains to come

good luck all

Great news "LONDON (AFX) - Caffe Nero Group PLC, the coffee retailer, said chairman Gerry Ford bought 18,326 shares in the company at 163 pence each, increasing his total holding to 11.25 mln shares, or 16.9 pct"

GREAT NEWS

Caffe Nero to top targets
MoneyAM
Caffe Nero Group said it has had a very strong trading performance in the second half of the current year.

As a result, the group expects full-year profits to 'materially' exceed market expectations and sales to be at the top-end of expectations.

In a pre-close trading update, the coffee bar chain operator said it has continued to experience buoyant levels of trading with high single-digit like-for-like growth across its estate.

Furthermore, recent new store openings are trading well and the group will exceed its target of having 210 locations trading by the May 31st financial year-end, it added.

Caffe Nero plans to report results in September.

I sold today @190p ,
long term still looks good BUT,

I dont like the 'no bounce back' after bombs
and of late too many high volume sells for a small share like CFN

I am taking a very nice profit, and will move onto somthing new

i dont want to get too greedy

good luck one and all, long termers should be fine
