Anyone heard any news from Inter, should be hearing about an aquisition today or very soon. With the price having been pushed down in the last month it makes you think something is going to happen very soon and for the good me hopes!

Buys. I use digitallook.com for research aswell as moneyam. On digital look you get a free acount that allows you to see whether the volumes traded are buys or sell and not just the volume traded! personanlly i'm slightly anxious about ial but sticking with them, if the price returns to anywhere around 1-2 in a year or two, i'll be sitting on a small fortune!!!!!!!!!

i`m holding a large some (not disclosing how much) and I too am just sitting quietly and watching like a hawk, I think the positive change in the last day or two surely must be a step in the right direction in a share that has been falling for months. I still think, like most, that such a share is very high risk and is still poised to go either way, I`m hoping for a bid price of around 4-5p selling as much to cover the cost of the original stake and holding the rest. If they do rise all the better, if they fall and fizzle away I`ve not lost anything, just climbing a couple of more pence......please!!!!

just bought inter today with such a tight spread you are not going to lose much so must be worth a flutter, as i think there is more to gain than lose

The following is taken from www.money.telegraph.com, (dated 13/1/04).
On Aim, there were heavy dealings in Inter-Alliance, the IFA that secured a spot in the 90pc club last year after sounding a profits warning. Volumes reached 34m as delayed transactions of 9.7m and 7.15m shares registered on screens.
Traders speculated that Inter-Alliance rose 0.12p to 2.87p as an overhanging line of stock, possibly belonging to Old Mutual, had been cleared out.
